Not that Kenny is bad or anything but it's rare that players under 6-8 that play PF ever get to be more than just bench players. His size is even more of an disadvantage on the west. With Griffin he has a chance to be special because of his size and skills so his potiential is higher and he matches up better. So no.

Can you tell me more about this Kenny Thomas guy. I've never seen him play. He must have been on the East Coast his whole career and played college at Syracuse or something. No one ever talks about him on this board.

Why is this a terrible idea? Kenny Thomas is better than Griffin, no question. The Rockets got worse when they traded him. I wouldn't do this trade, but hell, much worse things get proposed around here.
