SIGN HIM NOW. DWIGHT&FARIED DUNK OF TOGETHERNESS. Anyway, I would try to get him only because his talent trumps our chemistry.
In Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose's NBA preview, Simmons mentioned that the Manimal is someone that "everybody says is a little dicey behind the scenes" and said that Denver would likely trade him. I wonder what he means. http://www.grantland.com/nbapreview2013
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he is gay. Nothing wrong with that. He was raised by two lesbian moms.
A ton of researches have shown that children with homosexual parents are not more likely to become homosexuals themselves than a child with straight parents.
True, if you consider Faried is a father of two kids. Bi perhaps.... A friend of mine, who was an agent back in the 80's, told me about a couple of really famous players who were bi. I will avoid controversy by not revealing them on an open forum.
If you hadn't mentioned it at all, you wouldn't have needed to show your "concern" about "avoiding controversy."
I like him. He is a big motor guy that can rebound. Usually, those type of guys are good defenders but not in his case. That would be my biggest complaint about him. Of course, the guys that want a "stretch" guy will have a seizure if he's on the Rockets. For that reason alone, I would love if he was on the Rockets.
What the hell is wrong with Simmons eating that spoon of cinnamon. Totally a Javale McGee move, but I thought Simmons knew better than that.
Another thing to consider is that we could have drafted him instead of Marcus Morris. Why Morey? Why?
I would not do it, either. Faried is good but Asik is better. And if the big problem with Asik is two non-shooters clogging up the paint then Faried-Howard has the same issue, except Faried is not the rim protector that Asik is. I don't think Morey would do it either but then again he did request that wiener walls be put into the shower so... http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=...=/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=P5bMUOL1H9U
