The Washington Post is reporting that the FBI will not investigate this "letter" and they have passed the information on to the White House as an update of Brett Kavanaugh's background check:

In other words, this was another baseless smear campaign by Diane Feinstein and the perpetually lying Democrat left.

Now, on to the final vote.

The good news is, this latest round of Democrat left sleazebaggery will have motivated more people on the right to get out and vote in November.

Keep it up, Dems. You people are your own worst enemy.

saw a report that Feinstein has also had this letter for "months" but has refused to share it with anyone else on the Judiciary Committee. All her announcements today make it sound as if she was just handed this letter in the past week. So probably just a circus move.

saw a report that hot ladies in your area were looking for love, so maybe the Breitbart comments section can get laid and cease to exist someday.

Just posting about a report I saw.

Does it deserve its own thread?

Methinks Kavanaugh might have been confused by the meaning behind ... #MeToo .

Kavanaugh is presenting himself as a #MeToo ally.

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh tried to present himself as a #MeToo ally on Wednesday, saying he thinks sexual harassment at work is a “broad national problem that needs to be addressed, including in the judiciary.”

Kavanaugh, who was responding to questions from Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) during his confirmation hearing, was trying to distance himself from his former mentor and boss, retired federal appeals judge Alex Kozinski, who faces allegations of sexual harassment and assault from 15 women.

Kavanaugh also said he wants to find ways to protect women from sexual harassment — an odd claim from a judge who has shown little interest in upholding the very laws meant to protect US workers from harassment and other forms of job discrimination.

Kavanaugh’s past legal opinions suggest he would most likely restrict, not expand, these rights if he is confirmed to the Supreme Court.

If it's really about high school it's ridiculous unless the guy was a serial rapist or something. Even then the timing is ridiculous, as if old crimes were not crucial to lower court confirmations.

And yet: "New low" is a weird term on the same day that the POTUS -- the leader of all Americans -- claims against all evidence that thousands of Americans did not die in PR. No, their deaths, he said, were a fiction that existed only to make him look bad. Nice. That's like a sandy hook denier on steroids so therefore a sub-amoeba level lifeform move. Hard to get lower than telling 3000 American families that their tragedy is not only fake but also actually just an insult to the ego of the Sicko in Chief.

But if this is a letter about high school innuendo, then it's a low point for DiFi's senate tactics. Some of her votes have been lower morally, but whatever.

    WSJ editorial

    excerpt:
"News reports also say that Ms. Feinstein has had the letter since the summer, and that it was first sent to the office of Rep. Anna Eshoo, a Democrat from Silicon Valley. But if the 'information' is worrying enough to send to the FBI, why did Sen. Feinstein wait so long? She didn’t bring it up during the summer in the run-up to the hearings, didn’t mention it when she met with Judge Kavanaugh, and didn’t think it was important enough to tell her colleagues.

"The charitable explanation is that she didn’t think the information was credible enough to warrant investigation, but that now under pressure from her colleagues she felt obliged to surface it. In the current #MeToo frenzy, Democrats may think the story will scare Republican Senators when nothing else has."
