Not really. Can't control what people do and this is an intern. But if you want to seek outrage, this is a good story :)

Not very smart for a student studying cybersecurity.

Wikipedia tracks each edit a page receives on a public revision history log, including the edit's IP address.

On his LinkedIn page, Cosko, 27, lists experience as a legislative corespondent and technology systems administrator at the Senate. He is also a graduate student studying cybersecurity policy and compliance at the George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Politco reports that Cosko was working as an intern in the office of Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas at the time of his arrest and that he has since been fired.

As someone who knows a young woman raped in college (in the dorms, first week), I would question the "grey area" theory. While the rapist was immediately removed from school (under Title IX), the victim's college life was also ruined, leaving school after the semester and since suffering psychological and physical issues still.

Here comes the report! Early indications suggest no evidence!

I couldn't see how there would be any evidence. The dude was looked into, what, 5-6 times already by the FBI as he moved up the government ranks in the judiciary. I think they would've caught a woman hating, gang raping, raging alcoholic if he was one. This whole thing has been disgustingly pathetic. More and more I believe Dr. Ford is more deeply involved in this attempted appointment derailment than she's letting on.

The democrats got what they wanted. They used these accusations to paint Kav as a metoo sexual assault monster, so now they can convince themselves they’re “on the right side of history” (lol) and claim moral high ground and attack his character for decades. Especially if a Roe v Wade review happens. Classic politics, my friends.

It will be interesting to learn exactly what the FBI investigated, or, more precisely, what they were allowed or directed to investigate. Sounds like they didn't interview the accuser and other witnesses that came forward with information. Sounds like the investigation was intended to simply allow those fully intending to confirm kavanaugh to say it was investigated by the FBI.

So republicans got what they wanted... an accused rapist, with demonstrable inability to tell the truth, with a willingness and in fact, a predisposition to overturn precedence and be an activist judge that legislates from the bench, and most important to trump, one who will protect trump. Essentially, a tainted seat on the supreme court.

    republicans can celebrate...

You lap up the democrats' lines hook, line, and sinker. Your side wanted an FBI investigation, you got one, and now it's not good enough. Then you accuse Kav of lying (with no factual basis to say that) and throw out that he's an "accused rapist", which I guess is true, but there's no evidence to prove he was guilty of anything.

I don't know about fed judge, but I believe a security clearance fbi background check goes back 7 years, or at least it only asked for info that far back. If there aren't specific allegation that the fbi is aware of during the check, and 7 years is how far it goes back, fbi check wouldn't likely turn over anything 30+ years ago.

As far as this current check - one week is a funny limit. Who did they actually talk to ? That's another funny limit. But maybe they did get to talk to alot of people, including the Ford and Kav? If not, that's a funny limit.

You don't think there is enough evidence to show that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted somebody, but with absolutely zero evidence, you believe Dr. Ford is involved in some type of conspiracy? LOL.

Whether or not Kavanaugh sexually assaulted Ford, he still isn't qualified to sit on the Supreme Court. He's a proven liar who believes conspiracy theories based on no evidence and is unhinged. That's not a judicial temperament or conduct acceptable for that exalted position.

The FBI background check will ask the candidate for two people with whom they worked, two roommates from college, two people from the neighborhood they lived. The people are provided by the candidate. The FBI goes and interviews those people. If something fishy comes out in the interview, they will go further.

Not exactly an FBI investigation. As usual, trump and his supporters lie and scheme to protect themselves...

He has lied at least 29 times that has been documented (already well-documented in this thread). He is an accused rapist. Would you prefer the term alleged rapist?

Here's the start of multiple posts documenting his lies: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php...n-further-right.291985/page-186#post-11985669

It's not a real investigation, it was just a background check, they have no way of forcing people to talk with them. Also, why would they interview Ford? They have her testimony already, what good would talking to her again do when it comes to trying to prove or disprove what she said?

Ford was at least questioned by an experienced prosecutor. so there is some sanity in those questions. Why not Kavanaugh?? he was only questioned by grandstanding senators on both sides. They should have questioned both. Without those interviews, they are opening a door of suspicion even for people who want to go with this process.

Also I don't understand the optics of giving one copy of report today to 100 senators and have them be ready for vote tomorrow. The reason for FBI supplemental check is to give confidence to the process. why undermine it by unnecessary rules

The loss of due process and the loss of the "innocent until proven guilty" are the real cancers.
