I don't see the Rockets stopping to try to find lightning in a bottle. All signs point to Rockets being interested enough in Canaan to give him at least a year at RGV. If Rockets add another PG, it will be at expense of someone else.

I would be completely shocked if Rockets brought in Tinsley.

What about Brooks, any chance we can bring him back? His 3pt shooting would be nice on this team. Not sure what kind of offers he may get but for the minimum you couldn't do much better.

Are the Rockets going to be mentioned now by some chump talking head whenever a team hopes to move someone, or a player's agent is hoping to find a home for one of his clients? Apparently so. Kennedy is one of those cats who will spew out anything whispered in his ear, no matter how rediculous.

Weren't you able to watch the games on tv last year?

Once Lin was healthy he shot 39% from the 3 point line the last 3 months of the season.

I have to laugh it off

35 year old chucker 37% FG and 30% from deep
He makes Reggie Williams look like an Allstar, actually Superstar

You call that a solid report on a player?! Good luck with Tinsley on another team. What a hilarious joke.

Chucker? Hardly... he shoots maybe 8 times per game if he's starting. He's a pass first, gamble on some steals PG.

I don't want Tinsley. But last year when y'all didn't want Delfino I said he might be the best offensive player on the team next to Martin. If we got Tinsley he'd probably be the best playmaker on the team. That doesn't mean he needs to start or even get minutes. But I think that statement could be true.

He's not a PnR player but he can definitely create movement and find open guys.

I don't mean chucker in the sense of a volume shooter.
It's meaning he takes bad shots or shoots poorly despite of knowing it.

No, but maybe we can pry Adam Morrison from his new coaching job. We'd have the best beard/moustache combo in the league!

So he can pass. Ok. One good aspect of his game.
But in IMO any PG that passed 34 is a risk unless your name is Steve Nash, the other Jazz player I am not mentioning. Elite PGs that are still handicapped by age.

Once mediocre players are now bad players. The likes of Tinsley.
Rockets are throwing names out there to test the market and determine what players are still left that could be had for veteran minimum.

They're interested to find out how he's managed to get people to keep giving him millions of dollars to ball even though he hasn't played worth a damn in over half a decade.
