We can bring him home. I just hate how he looks pissed off at the whole world all the time.

I'm definitely not on the Perkins bandwagon. Playing with the Celtics covers up how truly pathetic he is on offense. He is fortunate to have players like PP, KG, Ray Allen and Rondo around him. On defense, he's great for man-to-man coverage against big 7-foot centers who play in the low post but isn't of much use against smaller players. Perkins has poor foot-speed and is the definition of unathletic and uncoordinated.

If Perkins signs with a different team next season, he will be exposed. Again, he is one of the worst offensive players in the NBA.

Just say NO to Kendrick Perkins unless he comes cheap.

    Uhh, yes he is.

Morey sent Bosh a prepaid shipping label to return the iPad. Money ball ftw.

i hope he would want to come here.. he is defensive minded and i think hes ready to embrace that leader role a little more. i think this could be a good place for him to do that

Does he really believe he is worth more than that?

Kendrick Perkins is not a shot blocker/rim protector. And has anyone seen him on offense? He's horrible. He might also be the slowest finisher in the entire league.

Bigs like Perk who are young and big come at a hefty price no matter what so we should just give him what he wants because hes gonna get his money from us or another team so why not.

He's not dumb. He knows what he brings to the NBA is a rare commodity. Seven foot, defensive centers, who average 2 blocks per game, and are efficient deserve at least $9 million. He would solve all of the Rockets problems.

He will get that. If Morey can find a way to get him and Green that would be amazing.

Sign Green, S&T Brooks for Perkins (not sure if this is allowed), and sign Battier for a few million.

Lowry / Smith / Alec Burks (first rounder)
    Martin / Lee / Budinger
Green / Battier / Williams (point forward)
    Scola / Patterson / Hill
    Perkins / Hayes / Miller

Money ball is effective, but you just have to be patient. This team can sustain injuries and will have no problems holding teams to under 90 points.

Man A3PO when you're down on a dude you're really down on a dude :p

You describe Perkins like he's the 2nd coming of Kwame Brown lol. For being the definition of unathletic and uncoordinated he was able to average 10 pts last season, no mean feat with him already being the 5th option on offense. His %s were pretty solid as well, a TS% into the 0.60's. Again with the extremely sample size, however at least he doesn't weigh offense down ala Jared Jeffries. Perkins would fit like a glove on a team like ours that already has two of the premier offensive talents in KM and Scola IMHO.

Last year, Chuck's offense was bad. Now he's half way decient with a pretty good 1st step on his spin move. Kendrick & Chuck could work together on their offense next year.

Perkins is a valuable player but he's not that valuable. The difference between he and Chuck Hayes is one of those guys won the genetic lottery.

From a basketball standpoint I can see how Perkins is what we need. He's tough, gritty, plays D and rebounds and blocks shots. Everything we are lacking now on the team but am I the only one that really hates this guy? He just seems like a punk with KG and always has this pissed off look.

Oh well I guess if he somehow ends up the Rockets I'd have to root for him..
