If we get jobbed I'm looking forward to seeing the Toyota Center riot and send the NBA a message by taking out their little lackeys
Vegas is not as simple as you think. Let's say the Rockets are playing the Pistons at home and the Rockets are the favorites to win by 10.5 points or more. All one ref has to do is place his bet and make sure the Rockets either win or lose by more than 10 points. So if he likes the Pistons +10 points he can screw the Rockets out of calls and make sure they don't cover the spread. You will say the refs sucked, but it didn't matter because the Rockets won. The Rockets are a good team, so it would take more bad calls to ensure they lose than it would to cover the spread. Why make it harder on yourself and risk losing your job over a little more money?
mauer/brothers miss a lot of calls and quite often it seems to be on purpose. less freethrows overall definitely helps the clips and hurts the rockets in this game.
I foresee a quick 2 fouls on Dwight to totally swing the game early and make us climb out of a deeper hole
they could just as easily call 2 quick fouls on Deandre and we will just have to have Dwight play smart and not put himself in position to let the refs take him out of the game.
2 notable bad calls in the 1st quarter. Dwight's 2nd foul was not a foul, and Capela was well in bounds for an open dunk. Rockets doing a good job of not letting the refs ruin their focus.
Spot on! You can easily see the effect on Dwight though, he's not getting many rebounds he usually gets because he does not want to get called for a push off, so it has a tremendous effect on the game.
