true, just ask our president about that. its even easier to sell your team for a nice profit after you get the county to fund a new stadium. just ask our president.

    So....it's George Bush's fault.

Good grief. I'm sure you can find some tin foil in the kitchen. Just make sure you mold it around your head for a proper fit.

As a person Ken Lay was a decent man. As a businessman he was unethical. I had the chance to meet Lay a few years back, and he seemed like a very genuine person. He didn't seem like one of those CEO's who had a air of superiority about him. RIP.

That is a ridiculous distinction. Newsflash- They were the same person. He was a scumbag criminal and his crimes did serious damage to thousands of hardworking honest people.

Hey c'mon...I admit I am being a conspiracy theory wacko...but I am being a bipartisan conspiracy theory wacko in this instance.

I'm sure Lay has a lot of dirt on Democrats as well...Enron donated a wazooload to both parties.

it is rather convenient that he dies right before his sentencing, where he will have an opportunity to exchange any testimony for a lighter sentence. wasnt there another high profile enron guy who "commited suicide" the day before he was to testify?

    why, yes there was...how convenient!

I guess he chose death over prison!
I don't blame him. I'd rather die then go to prison and get cornheld every night.

I guess God thought his crimes were capital offenses.

He does hold the ultimate sentencing veto, you know...

Aceshigh is the same person who thinks Lay should have been tried by a group of his actual peers, mainly executives of other companies, instead of normal Americans. CREDIBILITY LOST.

Yes but what is America coming to when the rich are held accountable. What happened to the "term money can buy you anything."

Believing that your government is capable of killing in order to cover-up an inconvenient truth is quite different than believing that aliens are invading your brain. To equate the two makes you look like a fool.

The fact is our government officials have shown, time and time again, that they have no problem disregarding their own laws when they believe the ends justify the means. I don't think that's the case with Lay, but I can definitely see where someone else might.

I admire Lay and Skilling. Very smart people. All of you who are behaving like children about another human being's death should be ashamed of yourselves.

Weird how the most vindictive people are on the supposedly compassionate side of the political spectrum.

"YEAH HE DESERVES TO FRY I WANT TO SEE DNA LOL ROFL"

Yeah okay chief, I'm sure CTU will get right on it.

That is because he (Aces) is the biggest troll on the board or he is TJ's mentally challenged brother or probably both.
