I personally do not see the Rockets signing Lee above $4/5 million a year. I think we have drafted our starting SG for the next decade.

Hes a large expiring contract, quite useful in trades. I rather amnesty Scola who is getting quite old and has a hefty contract.

Put Morey's head on and Pacino's you've got yourself a winner.

Jeremy Lamb will never develop under Kevin Martin.

    Keep Lee, trade Martin.

Don't need Martin anymore if we keep Lamb.

There are teams interested in Martin so I say ship him out and let's play the guys (like Lamb) who still have upside and who may be convinced to work on the defensive part of their game...

...unless we do a sign and trade for Gordon. If that happens, i think there's a good chance New Orleans gets Lamb; especially beause Martin is in the last year of his contract, has injury issues, and is almost 30 years old.

I also don't see how Lee is on this team next year, regardless of what moves Houston makes. He'll be looking for $6 mil per, and he'll probably get it. I just don't see Houston making that kind of investment in him. Either we wil cast our lot with Lamb, or we'll pull off something for Gordon. Either way, Lee's time with Houston is numbered. In fact, he'd probably be a great "asset" at the trade deadline.

Bringing in a bunch of young guys with questionable intensity and mental stability to mix with a group of disgruntled vets who feel betrayed by the GM and coach and want out of town.

    What could possibly go wrong?

martin's value is at its lowest right now. why would DM trade him?

with an ending contract that size, he could be used in a S&T for a major FA.

his value will continue to increase as next season's trade deadline nears.

    +1

There's no need to sign a bench player to starters money, which is the case for Courtney Lee. Especially when he will be overvalued by other teams. Make a offer & some team like the Bulls, Suns, Knicks will overpay for him you let him walk, because you have a legitimate starter in Kevin as well as a well equipped rookie coming off the bench. One who has the physical tools to continue developing defensively to a potential nightmare defender (he will wear you down offensively to, with all the screens his defender must go through & movement period).

I love Lee's game he is a solid player worth about MLE nothing more to me though. If that's not enough let him walk.
