I'm so friggin excited i could just s**t myself...

He had a mediocre preseason game against the worst white center in basketball since Joe Kliene:rolleyes:

Maybe, just maybe Rudy showcased him for a trade???!!!:D

We all realize that we need Fato to win and reach the playoffs, without a shot blocking, D playing, and rebounding center, the playoffs are a distant memory.

As a result, I'm encouraged anytime Fato puts up good numbers, because consistency breads confidence and Fato has zero 0000 confidence at this point.

We should start a Fato fan club to cheer him on when does anything positive, we need to reverse his negative psyche.

    A) The playoffs ARE a distant memory right now...Im hoping that changes

    B) If you think that this team's playoff hopes fall on the shoulders of that "dick with ears" Cato, you need to send some of whatever you are smoking up north

I think Rudy and Carrol should give him a contract extension based on last night performance.

A)Maybe a distant memory to you, but there are plenty of people believing this team could make the postseason. They're deep, have more offensive weapons, and hopefully will pick up their defensive intensity.

    B) Well a lot of people are smoking something, because A LOT of people feel that the playoffs may rest on Cato's shoulder. Obviously nobody is expecting Cato to carry the team, but if he mans the middle, intimidates teams with shot-blocking, get to the glass, and plays reasonable defense he gives this team a MUCH needed presences in the paint. We have the offense, now all we need is defense and rebounding. If he steps it up, and Marc Jackson is acquired and contributes, that shores up the paint for the Rockets.

ThunderCats did rule.....hell, I even had the toy Sword of Omens, but it never gave me sight beyond sight. If it had, it would not have mysteriously disappeared. I wanted to pass it on to my son. That, my suction cup SpiderMan Web Shooters and my Batman utility belt.

    C'mon, I know I wasn't the only one.

Oh, BTW.....Cato rocked last night. Hopefully this won't he won't be a pre-season phenom and then a regular season washout.

I think it's too early to jump on the ThunderCato bandwagon...

i only saw like a 78% cato last night...
like someone else said, he's only in 'pre-season' shape...

Cato is looking better and shows flashes, but I have seen better hands on a snake.

Guess what?! The Cartoon Network is bringing back the Superfriends (on November 17, 2001)!

    It's called "Justice League."

Kelvin himself said he was in pre-season shape. It was a quote for the fine piece of "piss-him-off" writing in the Chronicle.

I could live w/Cato playing like he did in 99-00. W/Griffin and all our other talent that would suffice.

Don't misunderstand me...I, too, believe they can make the playoffs...but as far as their chances resting on Cato's shoulders...I dont see how our chances depend on a guy who has never proven himself as a force in his NBA career and who came into camp with a "i got my money so dont worry about what my fat ass does in the offseason " attitude.

Cato is a preseason warrior. That's how he got the big contract. I'll wait until the season begins to grade him.

Yeah, in the first quarter he was handed 3 easy dunks early, and fumbled the ball every time. But he eventually found a couple of hands, fumbling not quite so frequently. I think in time and with a bit more familiarity with our guys, he'll be more prepared to slam home those easy baskets our penetrating guards make for him. I think he'll do just fine. He needs to work on his hands (and his sight, to know when the ball's coming his way) and work a little harder on defense so that people are afraid to go inside on the Rockets. Who knows ... maybe we WILL make the playoffs this year :)

10 points, 10 Rebounds, 2-3 blocks and Cato is ALL we need.

When Marc comes and plays he will start at pf and the combo of him and Cato in the Low Post is an excellent addition since last year. Not to mention you have Kenny who has a lot of heart and Griffin who's potential is unlimted coming off the bench manning the 4 and 5.... I miss MO because we lose some of our scoring pop from the 4 but I think Rice being our first legitamite 3 man in awhile will definately compensate for that offense. Mobley and Francis, with Norris and Jones coming off the bench makes this team very dangerous not to mention all the other unproven talent we have in Langhi, Morris and Collier, with Walt giving some veteran pop.

I like it. I like it alot.

So overall how was his shooting (not including dunks)? 2/6?? Did it still look ugly or what?
