I'm beginning to doubt that a team with Yao and McGrady as the offensive focal points will ever be a top offensive team. They are both half-speed players. As a result, the offense will never flow like Adelman wants it to. It's always going to look sluggish.

Have you seen the SPURS lately. They make us look like Speedy Gonzalez.

Right on. Yao is a half-speed player because he's slow. Tracy is a half-speed player because that's his mindset. With those two setting the tone, Adelman's offense will never take hold. I've said it before and will say it again: Tracy is instant death to Adelman's scheme. When your best offensive player makes himself a statue whenever the ball isn't in his hands, what can you do?

Tracy needs to get hurt and miss ~10 games so the offense can find itself without him. Then he can observe, come back and blend in. Look what happened last year.

Trade T-Mac for Rip Hamilton and a few other players.

LoL. Okay, that's not going to happen anytime soon. The Pistons already have a blockbuster trade under their belt.

I just brought it up, because Rip is the type of player we would need. Great off the ball scorer. We need someone similar to that, and I would actually be willing to give up Mcgrady for a player like that he is the same level as Rip.

That being said, I don't see it happening. The rockets will not trade tmac unless they hit rebuilding mode.

Very much agreed. Slow and unathletic.

Yeah that's going to be real productive.

What exactly happened last year? T-Mac came back from injury, and was still a statue when he didn't have the ball in his hands. Nothing changed. Whatever. He helped us win 22 games in a row.

To me, that is the single biggest reason our offense looks stagnant at times.

If T-Mac were able to keep his feet moving instead of just standing on the perimeter 9 out of every 10 possessions, our offensive production and efficiency would increase noticeably. Unfortunately, he can't and likely never will change this behavior. He will continue making it easier on defenses.
