I remember in the 2006 summer leagues, he had the most impressive per-minute box-score stats, which was somewhat surprising to me since no one was talking about him. It's hard to put too much weight on summer league stats, and he was playing in a very up-tempo Denver system that particularly suited him, but that was an indicator that the kid had real NBA talent. Golden State is a perfect match for him.
