Maybe he'll get a Rockets interview? Warriors are doing things wrong by getting a coach and then firing him after one season. Stability at the coaching position is key if they want to have success. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=6437202
The new owners of the Warriors are expecting too much, too fast. They finished under .500, but it was still a 10 game improvement. Not good for players to have 3 different coaches in 3 years.
Huh? I mean, they got 10 games better, and it's not like they can credit the lotto for that as Udoh's sucked. I don't watch the Warriors, but what the heck did Smart do to get fired after ONE season with that improvement? Makes no sense.
Rick Adelman's team has had a better than .500 record every season in his career, except when he coached the Warriors. The franchise is so cursed even Rick the Führer cannot help them.
Adelman would actually be a great fit for the roster they have. Guys like Lee, Radmonovic and Curry would have career years with Rick. But given their history, I doubt the Warriors or Adelman would want to have another go at it.
Keith Smart sucked hard. That first few games were flukes. This guy is using Monta Ellis like 45min a game, even on back to backs. He doesn't know about developing young players. For example, Udoh nearly played until the all-star game, where Smart gives him like 4-5 min a game. Jeremy Lin showed promises but he never plays him. When Acie Law signed with GSW, Smart played him the NEXT DAY when he didn't even have time to practice. Law was like -25 that game and he has the lowest +/- all season, despite that fact, Smart plays him every night and gives way more minutes than he deserves. Good riddance imo
He He, I knew someone was going to say this. And as someone else mentioned too - he didn't have a good relationship Curry. They look pretty good on paper. A new coach might fire up Beidrins as well.
