Yes I understand what you are saying. It's just that some people claim that Keith and Bill are the same just for different sides. In some ways, as you pointed out, they are alike, but they aren't equal in as far as the lengths they will go to.

I'm sure Rush and Bill O fans do think their talking head is accurate, and that's part of the problem. Sometimes when it comes to facts their aren't two sides(liberal/conservative) to the story. The facts are just unbiased facts. Bill and Rush have a history of ignoring, changing, and omitting those, that isn't the same for Keith.

Keith Olbermann is scum. Anyone who calls our troops "cold blooded killers" shouldn't be anchoring election coverage on NBC or moderating a debate.

That being said, this was an entertaining rant and it's hard to argue with what he said. For all the complaints about bias in the media in favor of Obama(and they ARE in the tank for the guy), Clinton has gotten away with so many gaffes and fibs, it's pathetic.

Olbermann never called the U.S. troops cold blooded killers. Maybe people who have trouble comprehending words like "mercenaries" shouldn't be allowed to watch grown up news shows.

That was twisted to try and slam him. He was referring to the mercenaries at Blackwater who were cold blooded killers.

I don't know why some people thought when he made that statement their minds jumped to him talking about our troops.

He makes some good points, but that was 5 minutes too long.

They are the same character. The same arrogant self-importance. The same angry jackass personality. The same disregard for facts. The same dismissal among slightly more serious journalists. Keith Olbermann is angry that Bill O'Reilly is more successful with the same schtick.

Olbermann is an idiot with a big vocabulary. It's like giving a 4-year-old a chainsaw.

(I can't stand either one, and rarely ever watch them.)

"Mr. Bush, at long last, has it not dawned on you that the America you have now created, includes cold-blooded killers who will kill people to achieve their political objectives? They are those in, or formerly in, your employ, who may yet be charged some day with war crimes."

Those are his words. He does mention Blackwater later on in that segment(probably about 5 minutes later). But if that's what he was referring to with those remarks, then he needed to clarify that. That's not what it sounded like he was saying. And no offense, but Olbermann hasn't exactly earned the benefit of the doubt given his track record.

He did clarify. But that's not what you want to hear, so you didn't.

Even though I don't agree with you; I found this funny to be rather funny lol....

You don't have to like Keith, but he never makes stuff up just for the sake of it like Rush. Keith is usually always factually accurate you have to give him that. Nothing he said in that clip was a lie!

Right, it's the viewer's fault. I guess it's Olbermann's fault then for misinterpreting Hillary Clinton's remarks about RFK's assassination. After all, she "clarified".

Those are his words, and nowhere in them did he call soldiers cold blooded killers. Why is it that in a piece talking about mercenaries gone amuck do you jump to the idea that he is referring to soldiers?

Nothing in the segment is aimed at soldiers.

The disregard for facts among Keith and Bill O are not at all equal.

Keith is getting a bit tiring for me. I wish he would tone it down a bit. The rant was too long.

The content is good and I generally agree with his political slant. He has gone overboard on Clinton imho. However, even when he is going on about Bush I find it a bit much.

A question of style. I don't like Jim Rhome that much either.

Once he did clarify that comment, voluntarily in the same speech - mind you, then it becomes CLEAR he wasn't talking about soldiers.

So once we know he isn't talking about soldiers, why is this worth continued discussion? Do you think he intentionally made a vague comment?

On the other hand, Clinton repeated her EXACT statement multiple times and then finally offered a disigenious appology.

Comparing KO's comment to Clinton's comment is apples and oranges.

Talk about "take his quote of context." geez

I hear ya. On Olbermann's end it has gotten ridiculous though. He makes "Bill O" references all the time and clearly has some sort of twisted obsession with the guy.

But I agree, both are essentially the same thing. Pompous, condescending and completely full of themselves. O'Reilly is just better at it than he is.
