Where in the post did he mention they had to play sg? He said name 20 players I would trade Tmac for, and I did just that. So you wouldn't trade Tmac for Howard/Jefferson/Paul/Williams because they play different positions? Really? I guess it was a "Not try tho." -V
Hasnt it been said Tmac and Ron dont get along? They say they do in press but in lockers rooms isnt a dif story? Rumored at least.
TMac will almost certainly be a shell of his former never get out of the first round self ... that's pretty bad.
Luckily we have a team that can do it without him. Anything he gives us that's positive is icing on the cake. I'm all for moving him, but like a previous poster said, I hope we do it when we can get max value. In Morey I trust.
Still wanting TMac out of HTown. Ron and Yao should stay but I will root for the Rockets anyways no matter what Morey decides to do I will always stay a loyal Rockets fan.
It will be a chance for Tmac next season to show he still is an star, I would really like to see all of them being healthy and on the court together most of the season.
If there are not any enticing offers for Tmac then the Rockets should wait and see how Tmac can contribute to this team.
I would give TMAC another chance here in Houston. The deals out there for him are horrible. I would like to get Vince C. for TMac but what else is there that is reasonable for tmac?
At the current stage of TMac's career I will take anything for him. He will not be ready to start off this season and having a complete team without any distractions will be key this season to get HCA throughout the playoffs.
Hope, you are correct and it does not cost the Rockets their young upcoming players like Brooks and Landry.
That is what it would looks like. Both are guys that like to occasionally dominate the ball and show off. With Yao being the obvious center option of the team, I am sure neither like the possibility of getting their share of scoring opportunities reduced with another scorer. That and I remember hearing a sound bite from one of his internet podcasts or video blogs where he made a veiled reference toward him coming back to the Rockets and the team getting rid of another unnamed player or something along those lines. And given the fact that we have starters for every other position then Shooting Guard, and putting Battier on the bench means lossing the best defensive player on our team, I don't see us keeping one on the bench. We have to lose or move one of them.
With his declining talent and diva ways we need to to whats right for the team. With Tmac's ego and immature ways he needs to grow up first before ANY team would pick him up. Until then do whats right for the team Morey...Rockets- TSlack= Success 100% GUARANTEED!!!!!
