    But he didn't bigz,
    thus the curse of Juwan.

Look at Michigan now, once a powerhouse of basketball and football, now they are getting beat by division 2 schools in the big house.

Their basketball team? what basketball team?

I'd take Ryan "The Germinator" Bowen every time over Juwan Howard. People forget that we won 7 straight regular season games heading into that playoff series, all without Juwan.

:D I didn't know superstition could be quantified. Hey I was very glad when Howard was off the roster. I thought he was bad luck too. I'm kind of weary of moving Artest not because of your theory but because I'm afraid the team is going to miss his unpredictability. I keep thinking how this team can not miss the Artest that set the tone in Boston when they get in the playoffs.

You just explained Ron Artest in a nutshell.

You never know who is going to show up... Will it be the baller, or the nutcase. The guy who can drop 30, or the guy who shoots 3-15. He has been about as inconsistent as Rafer!

But, tinman, you didn't find the solution like durvasa. And you didn't figure out how the curse is still here even after he was traded away. Give durvasa his credit.

This is my proposal for how to deal with the curse: Put a stick through Artest's heart. Then burn his body to ashes. That'll get rid of Juwan's curse.

Man I didn't know that Juwan's ghost is still in the building.

you should look up those old threads I made when people kept bashing me about Juwan Howard. At the same time they were dissing Robert Horry, then he goes out and wins 2 MORE CHAMPIONSHIPS, while we are facing doom.

I think to break the Curse is to bring Horry back, that's my theory!

Oh forgot to add to the Juwan Howard Curse ..

The Rockets and TWolves had a trade -Juwan Howard for Sam Cassell
Instead the Rockets kept Howard and Cassell went to the Clippers for Marco Jaric

We all know what Sam did with the Clippers (2nd round of the playoffs)

Ok, imagine that Cassell (All Star that year) on that squad with Tmac and Yao.

    exactly.

I don't know. If we acquired Cassell via Juwan Howard ... it might have canceled out his mojo. Cassell might be curse-proof, though, especially if he was brought back home. I think Horry would be enough to wash out the curse, regardless of how he's acquired. That guy is the anti-Juwan.

Why yes he did. 31 points, his season high! All it cost us was Brandon Freakin' Roy.

Seriously, the evidence is just staggering.

I cannot believe you guys just realized this until today.

Howard was a curse long back when he was a Mav.

I knew of the curse, of course. But it didn't hit me until just today that the curse was so potent that it could be transferred via a traded contract from one player to the next, like a virus ("contracted", if you will), and that this was the cause of all our misfortune with injuries the past couple years.

When that image flashed before my eyes while I was driving home, I can't say I laughed. It was a bone-chilling moment, but it sure opened my eyes on what the hell has been going on with this team.

Well his unpredictability could be a sort of baptism that cleanses the team from the Howard curse. :)
