did any of you notice that EVERY time griff posted up rasheed he scored? it was a thing of beauty - eddie in the post against a long defender and scoring!!! that said, i wish the rockets would have continued to give him the ball in the post. rasheed had no chance against him down low.

also, is kt nursing a bad ankle or something? i've noticed that he doesn't have his usual explosion w/the spin move. being cognizant of a tweaked ankle can cause that.

finally, motay looked fine. he didn't look extraordinarily out of shape. he looked like he should - a little rusty from not playing in a real game in over a year. that said, he ran the court real well (got in a fastbreak tomahawk dunk) and moved the ball well, too.

I remember asking for this combo all year in chat during games and what we got was Walt and KT or Walt and Griffin or small ball instead. It's about time.

This was discussed on a thread by Kalikuli, before Kenny broke his thumb...these two do one heck of a job on defense together. They seem to feed energy off each other,,,Distribution of skills..well said,,,,,,,,,,,

I agree w/ you, except I'd leave T-mo out of the mix. I firmly believe that good teams employ 8 or 9 man rotations. Sac is the exception. Hawk or EG can slide over to the 3 spot, depending on matchups.

Rice should never get minutes over Hawk. Hawk's contribution on defense has been emphatic and consistent. Rice can make no such claim on any phase of his game.
