That should have put a fire in jones to beat his ass .Durant should have received hard fouls multiple times.

It does. You don't see Duncan take any of these measures on the court ala Garnett, Jordan, Bryant, etc.

Let your game talk for you, not the other way around.

And not only did Durant score, but he got into TJ's head, and TJ proceeded to run a one man fast break for a bad contested layup with several defenders on him. So basically Durant scored, and then caused TJ to waste a possession by talking trash to him.

In my opinion, this is the sort of play that shows what a special player Durant is.

 

I heard/saw that during the game. My take on it is that Durant is not a classy competitor. He should of been T'd up for taunting. He is what, a buck 25 - that is straight up B atch to me.

 

Durant's swagger is tied in with his talent.

As one grows so does the other.

Comes across as jerk-y, but I'm sure his fans aren't losing sleep over it.

I do wish T-Jones hadn't let it affect him so much. Tjones should have treated him like a homeless man.

The GOAT mj wasn't classy either and talked trash every game and during interviews. Lebron plays nice guy also but it's known he's crazy as hell to. When you know other teams can't stop you that feeling of being untouchable changes your demeanor . The rockets are the only team Durant tries to intimidate because he can. He tried this with Dallas and VC got in his a**

I don't recall such things when Yao Ming era Rockets had something like a 20 game win streak over the Sonics/Thunder that included destroying Durant.

That said, I have no problem with it, on the court the other team is your enemy. Hakeem may not have said such things, but he definitely played like it (Akeem, on the other hand, was a bit of a hot head).

 

Harden trash talks a lot as well, don't know what the issue here is. You want Durant to stop talking trash? Beat him.

 

before the game on durants instagram page he said

"thankful for another day to go to WAR, let is fly, BANG BANG, get it KID"

Last game he told mchale and sampson after hitting a 3 by our bench on harden

"he cant hold me!"
