He is right that it's curious considering KD was up 3-1 on the Warriors. But the LeBron part is BS. I think OKC would have been favored vs. the Cavs (as was the Warriors).
I hope KD gets shamed by everyone in the NBA and every team except the Rockets. Then, he can hook back up with his friend JH once his contract with GSW is up. If Durant's worst "crime," was being overly sensitive, who really cares? We're not talking about beating women, or drugs, or something truly bad. He's a phenomenal basketball player and I'd take him on the Rockets in a friggin' heartbeat. Everything else is irrelevant.
Leading the way on those kudos of course are BAY AREA scribes Sam Amick and Marc Spears....like usual. Frustrating that they write for national news outlets (which one would assume to have no bias) but yet they skew bias towards their "home town team" GSW.
After USA Today national media writer (err Bay Area resident) Amick put up his KD face saving story (but, but "He Owned it!"), Amick put up a tweet with a poll. Probably assuming the story was going to work. Narrator: "I didn't."
I heard on the radio that Durant dissed his teammates shoes/brand? Anyone seen this anywhere? I'm guessing Stephanie UA because they ar hideous, but anyone have proof of this?
he could have joined the rockets last year (considering harden by himself won 55 games, durant would have prolly added 7 games, got HCA and won over the spurs, and met GSW again for the WCFs) but he didn't because they weren't a 70 win team and he didn't have the balls to compete with only 1 superstar with him
Great. Good to know that. You are still begging the question. Your answer is completely based on one single assumption, that Durant would ONLY join a 70-win team, no matter what.
Isn't that what he did? Yes or No He was a FA last year. So which other team did he at least talk to? Or there's none?
You are committing a logical fallacy. What one did in the past does not GUARANTEE one to do the same in the future. You can argue that he LIKELY won't join the Rockets. That's fine. But if you say he ABSOLUTELY won't, then you are making an assertion without any proof. Besides, how many 70-win teams are there in NBA history? Are you sure the Warriors will repeat the 70-win season? What if the Warriors collapse and there won't be any super team anymore? And what if Morey finds a way to get Durant to sign with the Rockets? Are you saying that these things absolutely won't happen?
okay so he only joins the best team in the league. so one day when the rockets are in the verge of winning one or have won one he'll bandwagaon again. will that change my opinion that he's a beta b!tch? no He was a FA last year. So which other team did he have serious discussions with? Or there's none?
I think it's hilarious when internet warriors call pro athletes a beta b****. I'm sure you're a tough macho alpha dog IRL lmfao. Anyways, to answer your question: June 30: KD's meeting schedule: OKC Thursday, Warriors + Clippers Friday, Spurs + Celtics Saturday, Heat Sunday. https://www.sbnation.com/2016/6/28/...-thunder-warriors-spurs-clippers-heat-celtics
This whole situation is so KD. He's so worried about what other people think because he knows the truth himself. He took the easy way out and ruined competitive basketball for a few years.
