Yall think Steph is available? KD was my choice for the short term shooting but I would honestly take Steph over any of these guys for 1-2 years. GSW fans seem to want the rebuild and cash out on Steph

I can’t imagine how much gravity he would pull as an off ball shooter while Amen, Green, Sengun handle most play making with Curry & Bari as shooters

I was for trading for KD this trade deadline. Didnt want to give up much for him, but i was willing to give up more at that point than i am now.

Unless the Suns are just going to basically give him to us, they can **** off really.

I stick with the young guys. None of our guys have hit their prime yet and we are #2 in the west with a lottery pick this year and plenty of picks in the coming years that will likely be lottery picks. There is no way I would bring KD here at his age. KD is literally a ticking time bomb whose "time" could be up at any moment.

IIRC Harden left first because of the antisemitic film his bud Kyrie was endorsing......

Devin Booker was the franchise player before Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal were acquired and he remains the franchise player. He was the franchise player before Budenholzer and previous one-year coach Frank Vogel — Ishbia is on the hook for paying the departed coaches around $18 million combined next season, sources said — and Booker remains so as he finishes the first season of a four-year, $220 million extension. Booker is eligible to sign a two-year $149.8 million extension this summer, which Phoenix is expected to offer, sources said. In his first season under Budenholzer, Booker averaged a career-high 37.3 minutes, 25.6 points — his lowest since 2028 — and shot a career-low 33% from 3. As the season fell to pieces, Booker made a perceptible shift in speaking about the importance of his “voice.” It was multifaceted — and intentional, sources said. He and Budenholzer got into a dust-up during the season about Booker’s communication in team settings, such as in huddles and film sessions, sources said. Booker referencing it sent a message to the coach who was on his way out. And Booker, now 28 and 10 years into his career, is also subtly letting it be known he will have more to say going forward.

All these talking heads don't know how to build teams. None of the players being floated as available are good targets for this current Rockets team.

Getting Giannis to fit here would require rebuilding the rest of the team for it work.

Durant needs another player/coach to be the vocal/emotional leader of the team, another player to be the defensive leader, and in his age 37 season another offensive creator who is as good if not better than him.

Booker is not a true gold/silver tier star. Sure he scores, but he is this generation's Carmelo Anthony but as a guard.

To me, it’s which moves do you HAVE to make this offseason, because the core is still developing and there’s still a lot of upside. You don’t want to to screw with that before you are pretty sure what the ceiling is. So it’s prudent to start by looking at upgrades to non-core players. To me, that’s Fred. You could simply leave everything else as it is, and if you upgrade Fred, to me that’s a huge win. You get another year to see who’s who in the core and you get better by upgrading our weakest position. That should be our focus this offseason unless an all NBA guy in his prime becomes available.

Not only is he overpriced, now he wants to have more decision power. No thanks.

No way...we're writing our own history now and don't need the main vein of GS.

Giannis is basically prime Amen not sure why you think it would require a rebuild.

The rest I agree with you.

My first choice is stick with youth cuz I want a good team for decades not a contender for a couple of years and then we suck. But Giannis is a top 5 player and if he is playing this good under Doc Rivers I think he will be no 1 player under Ime. But other than for a top 5 like Giannis I dont want a star trade and esp hell no to Booker and KD.

Next step is to focus on the playoffs and evaluate. We got a lot of tough decisions to make this offseason.

More than likely we will consolidate assets and have youth and vet.

Guys be serious for a second how on earth are you going to start Giannis, Sengun and Amen all 3 of whom can't shoot? Giannis has never been able to do his thing unless surrounded by 4 shooters. If Sengun and Amen will learn how to shoot in one summer, then why on earth will you need Giannis since both of them would become go-to guys anyway?

Love Giannis but it's a poor fit unless you're trading one of Amen or Sengun AND acquiring better shooters around the 2 that remain (i.e. even more draft capital sent out after acquiring Giannis). Sucks but I think we're unlucky with this one.
