It's sad because people won't remember KD for all the rings he gets. He will be remembered as a snake for the rest of his life and rightfully so. He traded his integrity and competitiveness for championships and it's not worth it. That's why KD will never be discussed in the same sentence as Lebron or Kobe or Hakeem

It doesn't matter how many rings Durant wins. If you can't beat them, join them...that will be Durant's legacy!

LMAO! Dude stop. Pickin on CJ when you play with Steph, Klay & Draymond is exactly what he's talking about. I think this started because Durant said Portland has no chance at a championship on CJ's podcast.

And stop with the "goat" references, because the stars of today are too damn soft mentally and lack the competitive spirit to rival past greats. The last transcendent NBA Stars was Duncan and Kobe. I'd call those two the "goat" a million times faster than I would Durant.

    ?

Kobe isn’t in any serious discussions regarding Hakeem/Lebron/Jordan.

Unless you meant most publicized players ever?

The transformation of KD from humble servant to a full-blown online troll/b**** kind of mirrors the increasing degeneracy that social media has imposed on society since about 2010. But all hope has not yet been lost for KD. Heard that he has finally made up with Kanter...

honestly, it would take something like KD going to the Knicks and winning a title as the man for him to gain some respect...these rings in GS mean nothing

keep stacking up that ring count KD, u might as well still have 0 rings right now AFAIC

I didn't listen to the original "beef" podcast from last week but part 2 came out yesterday and listened to that while on the way to work. They recorded both parts on the same day and, from what I heard and how I interpreted it, they didn't have any "beef" after part 2. KD got triggered after the fact because of how CJ responded to someone's tweet. I think it's lowclass of CJ to respond the way he did to a guy that he JUST had on his podcast but, on the flipside, it's KD and we don't care about snakes.

Truth be told though: KD sounds like a depressed dude.

FWIW, it's only a b**** move in fan's eyes. He got the salary he wanted, playing for the team he wanted, and has won a couple championships.

The problem with the analogy is that in today's NBA the players don't think their team is a 'gang'. It's just another bunch of rich athletes playing a game. So, switching to a different group of rich athlete's isn't a big deal; it's all about what is best for them personally. Which, when you think about it, is how we should all approach our jobs.
