I don't know if I'd ever seen another pro athlete at the very pinnacle of their sport--arguably one of the five best players in the league nearly every year of his career, finals MVP two years running, etc.--who is as painfully insecure as Durant. It's very weird to be an observer to this ongoing attempt to validate himself, over and over and over, in so many ways (like on Twitter).
