    I don't follow, Raven...

    ------------------
Squatting on old bones and excrement and rusty iron, in a white blaze of heat, a panorama of naked idiots stretches to the horizon. Complete silence-their speech centers are destroyed-except for the crackle of sparks and the popping of singed flesh as they apply electrodes up and down the spine. White smoke of burning flesh hangs in the motionless air. A group of children have tied an idiot to a post with barbed wire and built a fire between his legs and stand watching with bestial curiosity as the flames lick his thighs. His flesh jerks in the fire with insect agony.

    Rimmy,

DieHard, if he takes the position, will take over KBM's position as Raptors GM, with the same team. While his team isn't full of scrubs, he still has a lot of work to do to become a playoff team.

    Heath,

I appreciate the offer, but I will pass. I think the reason you offered it to me in the first place was because you felt sorry for me since you know I did get screwed in the common draft. I am aware that others got screwed too, but mine I think was worst because my last three trades were for common picks.

So I am offically under protest, especially when we have a commish who can break his own rules when he feels it necessary. See: Hidayet Turkoglu. Yet he will let everyone get worked up on a new rule change to prevent those obvious loopholes, then lay the hammer down, saying "nothing changes." [IMG] Why, for example, hasn't he posted in the 4-1-1 rule thread yet. I think prolly because it won't get adopted, but yet and still he's fine with everyone posting their thoughts on the subject as long as he's not called upon to give his decision! A real commish would give his decision right away, and be objective if it makes things better.

That thought never crossed my mind. I have a lot of depth and wants to use it to move up in drafts. But if the deal was to good for you [IMG] then I'm happy to make it worse. [IMG]

On the 4-1-1 rule. What I understand from what Cat has said in the chat is that he likes the 4-1-1, at the moment the discussion is held open and he might even do the 4-1-1 with the clause/change BGM proposed as no-one was against it [IMG] (VOR). But the change will happen next season for the draft, you betcha.

    KBM,

Please explain to me how I am breaking my own rules. If a player was a legitimate starter for your team, he is eligible to be submitted to the draft. I made sure with a panel of GM's that adding Turkoglu would be ok, and they had no problem with it. Turkoglu was a starter for my team. I'm putting him in the draft. How exactly is that breaking the rules?

And why haven't I posted on the 4-1-1 thread yet? I love the rule. It eliminates controversy and makes sense. However, I do not want to make a decision without getting input from the league first. This isn't my league, it's our league. Everyone deserves to have a say. I am trying to give everyone a chance to throw in their two cents before I make a final ruling.

KBM, I think I may prefer it if you leave too. I respected you, you were a good GM, but you have no idea the kind of time I have put into doing this league. And you know what? Everyone seems to love it. People are in the chat talking deals all the time, everyone is trying to make their team better, and it is getting to be a very entertaining experience. I'm giving 100% to try and make this the best league that I can, and I think that would qualify as being a "real commish". I apologize if you are upset, but I put too much time and effort into this league to come back and see people taking shots at me. If you would like to remain in the league, I'm fine with it, but I have had it with these personal attacks and this "my way or the highway" attitude from you.
