How far inland can you drive a boat these days on the bayou?

    (up the ship channel/ etc.)

I remember it used to be something cool to do back in the late 80s early 90s -- drive your boat by Power Tools/ etc.

there are many man made lakes in the suburbs you can do kayaking that are lot less polluted and better on the eyes as far as far as surroundings go. Also if you dont mind the drive, try clear lake, clear creek, dickinson bayou, i do some kayakfishing in these nice places.

My Kayak fishing crazy friends fish under the I-45 Causeway and in Lake Como in Pirates Beach, at night. There's enough light to attract fish and see.

Wow. I went to take my dogs to the doggy bowl Studemont and Allen Parkway yesterday and I saw it was closed with lots of construction. It looks like they cut away a good portion of land near the bayou. I can't wait until this revamp is finished. It looks like it's going to be pretty bad ass BUT I NEED A DOG PARK, STAT!
