I wonder what the package would have been? Hindsight tells me that if it was Randle and Kuzma plus a pick or two the Spurs lost out on a good opportunity there .

It would have to start with Ingram. Ingram would have to be included or no deal. Then add Kuzma and pick(s).

$20MM next season and a $21MM player option in 2019 which he will obviously decline.

Nah. It will take a lot more than that for a trade. Spurs would be better off waiting until this summer where they can shop Kawhi and get teams bidding against each other. If it turns out he's dead set on the Lakers, that deal will still be available or they can keep him for another year.

Kawhi Leonard wants a bigger Market and wants to be traded, because Jordan brand only offered him $20 million dollars on his shoe deal. Kawhi did not accept the deal. His uncle is steering Kawhi career and superstars are getting $200 million on shoe deals like LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Stephen Curry. Kawhi Leonard wants those big shoe contract, bigger market. I honestly believe he is healthy, National media is defending Kawhi Leonard. There is a rift with the veteran players of the Spurs Manu Ginobili, Lamarcus Aldridge, Pau Gasol, Tony Parker last shot to win basically.

Lakers have to offer a bigger package, If I was the Spurs, I would trade Kawhi to the Celtics and try to trade for Jayson Tatum. Jayson Tatum in the Spurs system would be amazing.

I think Ingram and Kuzma would be quite a haul. If the Lakers get George to team up with Kawhi and re-sign Randle I think that's a win-win for both teams.

There is no way that the Spurs will trade him to a western conference team. Gordon Hayward, Jason Tatum and Semi Ojeleye for Kawhi, book it. Tatum has the biggest upside, Semi has that look of a spurs player and Hayward doesn't seem like he would mind playing for a woman

Market has NOTHING to do with shoe deals we live in a global society now.

How big were OKC and Cleveland markets before Lebron and Westbrick? Kawhi is probably getting less money because he always goes down to injury every year.

Celtics already got really bad rep for doing Isiah dirty (see Irving refusing to play unless 100% healthy). If they trade Hayward nobody is gonna want to sign with them anymore.

If they get Kawhi and re-sign Kyrie, players will sign

Hayward is untradable because of his contract and injury.

He's already running and cutting, he's healed. He dislocated his ankle, no bones were broken, no ligament damage and his contract is easily tradeable in the nba

If they get Kawhi and resign Kyrie, there won't be enough capspace to sign other superstars since like I said Hayward won't be traded.

They can't trade Hayward because then why will players sign with them? Why sign with a team that will trade your ass away? You can sign with them in the offseason and end up in Sacramento by midseason.
