Here's me throwing rocks at Pops the Teflon Man in the Infinity War... I'm fully expecting many Dish-heads to feel compelled to strengthen Pops armor to any criticism, whatsoever. In fact, someone will spin this to make the case it's another example of how Pops is a Superhero Genius....and savior of all things Basketball....and Kawhi is Dr Evil.
Jabari Young "ESPN has it wrong. The meeting wasn’t tense. It caught Kawhi off guard, and teammates just wanted to check on his status so they wouldn’t want to hear it from media. He had support from teammates"
He's holding out until he gets that $200M extension signed - doesn't want to risk reaggravating the injury.
Agreed. I kinda feel like the media is making more out of this than it is. And I kind of feel things will work themselves out for SAS and Kawhi. But that's just because of how things have gone for them in the past. Maybe this is different.
When his injury issues started showing up. Very similar in that everyone thought he should play but he refused to.
"Wasn't tense" ??? Oh, come on Jabari, (San Antonio Express writer)...Cut out the semantics game. You even wrote in that article that Kawhi had to "Stand his Ground." and the meeting "Caught him off guard." According to sources, Leonard, who was caught off guard by the meeting, stood his ground. that's just semantics vs Woj saying "tense and emotional." You can't contain this SA Express, any more than Chron and Post could contain Hakeem friction.. Give up, and start asking Pops and the team the hard questions that you are so afraid to ask of them, or you will be left in the dust on this story. I want implosion!!!
Which is perfectly right unless your a Spur I guess. Jabari Young worked for the express? Might as well be working for the Spurs. The San Antonio media actively didn't even investigate Tony Parker sexting Brent Berry's wife out of fear of the Spurs access.
Is he still getting pay for this season from his so call injuries? I understand he wants to get paid and then again i understand the organization don't want a repeat of derrick rose and the bulls contract. Especially if he has a chance to re-aggravate it. That would cripple the franchise FA spending. Just flip the coin and roll with it. Give him his money now so he can play or trade him
