    That's funny. I played with RT on a few IM teams this year (we were later dq'd) and threw him an alley-oop from half-court that he dunked. It was the coolest thing ever. I thought it was going over the hoop but he skied and dunked it. He was the sickest jumping ability I have ever seen. Show me another 5'10" guy who can do a windmill jam over somebody in a game.

    I thought National Merit scholars automatically received free tuition if they are from Texas?

    not really..they get big scholarships but not free tution

    who cares..ou still sucks

    national merit scholars get $3000/yr and another $1000 in the first year, for a total of $13,000. or at least i did.

    I just can't wait for UT sports to start again...Vince, Gibson, Aldridge...it's on.

    Some schools like USC and OU offer huge money to National Merit Scholars to intice them to come.

    OU gives the "full ride". Room, board, tuition, and books too, I believe.

    USC's is big money (50% tuition...$16,000/yr), but the other 50% after factoring in room/board, would still cost more than 25 grand a year...
