From your mouth to God's ears!

But no! I don't think it's going to happen. Rove has been singing his ass off to Fitzgerald to avoid an indictment. I wouldn't be suprised if he ratted out Cheney in order to cop a deal. The man has the moral fiber of a snake.

see, most of those comments just went right over your head. For one thing those comments were not instigating (or by definition, starting trouble), but rather serving as a ending statement to a discussion. They represent finality.

by the way - EltonJohn is the preferred nickname of RocketMan Tex. Why else would he have chosen a famous Elton John song as his moniker?

As he explained to you before, this is a Houston Rockets fan BBS. His moniker is quite obviously representative of his love for the Rockets.

This could be the biggest hunk of monkey poo ever thrown in this forum. What a bunch of hooey. The only thing you know how to do is attack and instigate. When provided with facts, you disparage the source. When confronted with numbers, you question the mathematician. When given hard evidence, you bash the gatherer. When given straightforward logic, you concoct a magic bullet type theory in order to justify even the most egregious and disgusting things that Bush has allowed to happen.

Using the term "partisan hack" to describe you is the understatement of the period Anno Domini.

I am Democrat kind-of guy, but I do not think we can overcome the abortion issue. There are too many people who vote on that issue, and that issue alone, to allow for Democrats on the national to role out their policy.

"Oh, you're in favor of reducing the debt and since you're an economist you know how? Oh... you're also pro-choice - NEXT!"

That's how I see the average American voter. Non-voters, however, are just apathetic about the issue. I wonder how different the landscape would be if 100% of the eligible voted in EVERY election.

texxx, my taxes went down as well, and you know what? I think it's absurd. How can you keep disrespecting the victims of 9/11, by cutting taxes during the war to avenge them? Or that other war, the invasion and occupation of Iraq. Don't we need to pay for it, as well?

What say you? I'm willing to pay more taxes during a war, texxx... are you? Aren't you ready for a leader who'll ask the nation for sacrifices in support of freedom, instead of one who believes in a big tax-cut party, smack dab in the middle of a couple of wars?

    bigtexxx... there you go again.

Rove's asuming the policy title meant nothing because everyone knew that he controlled the political/policy apparatus anyway. His giving up the title means nothing for the same reason.

Actually things are going pretty well for littleTex. He gets to pretend to be a GI Joe guy by cheering on his proclaimed inferiors who fight wars he loves. He hopes to make a bunch of dough, after sucking off the government tit at tax payer funded tution.

After he gets out of school he hopes to keep cutting taxes so other kids don't suck off the government tit and get educated. I got mine sucka.

He is a typical little GOPer.

insane I stand corrected! You just might have something there!

Insiders say the move is not just window dressing. They say that Rove's role in the CIA leak investigation may have also triggered the move, and that Rove has not proven as adept at the nuts and bolts of policy as he is at political strategy, citing the failure of Social Security reform and the lack of a compelling domestic policy agenda.

Grand Jury Hears Evidence Against Rove

    Thursday 20 April 2006

Just as the news broke Wednesday about Scott McClellan resigning as White House press secretary and Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove shedding some of his policy duties, Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald met with the grand jury hearing evidence in the CIA leak case and introduced additional evidence against Rove, attorneys and other US officials close to the investigation said.

The grand jury session in federal court in Washington, DC, sources close to the case said, was the first time this year that Fitzgerald told the jurors that he would soon present them with a list of criminal charges he intends to file against Rove in hopes of having the grand jury return a multi-count indictment against Rove.

In an interview Wednesday, Rove's attorney, Robert Luskin, confirmed that Rove remains a "subject" of Fitzgerald's two-year-old probe.

"Mr. Rove is still a subject of the investigation," Luskin said. In a previous interview, Luskin asserted that Rove would not be indicted by Fitzgerald, but he was unwilling to make that prediction again Wednesday.

"Mr. Fitzgerald hasn't made any decision on the charges and I can't speculate what the outcome will be," Luskin said. "Mr. Rove has cooperated completely with the investigation."

The big kicker here is that this WH has zero policy since it is 100% political. The truth is that Rove probably took the policy job just so no policy accidentally happened on his watch.
