No he isn't, except for the part about Malone being good to teach rookies how to train. Malone's low post game was nothing unique regarding transferring special knowledge to someone. Nothing compared to Duncan or McHale, for instance. Malone was huge and overpowered people. His one move was to do a fade away while kicking his foot out to get spacing. Saying Malone has unique moves to teach people is like saying Barkley would be a great trainer on how to back it in...back it in...back it in. At least Barkley had a great spin move.

Malone was an excellent shooter on the pick and pop, but so are a LOT of people.

I would put Tim Duncan above Malone by a significant margin.

With Malone and Sloan now back with the j*zz organization and us bringing Hakeem back with the Rockets, I think it is time we go ahead and put these guys in rolls where it counts, onthe bench as coaches! Let's relive the 90's but with the old school players teaching the new guys full time.

    Rockets Coaching Staff:
    Head Coach: Kenny Smith
    Asst Coach: Hakeem Olajuwon
    Asst Coach: Robert Horry
    Asst Coach: Matt Bullard
Shooting Coach: Calvin Murphy (even though he didn't play with this era you have to have him on your coaching staff)

    j*zz Coaching Staff:
    Head Coach: Jeff Hornacek
    Asst. Coach: Karl Malone
    Asst Coach: John Stockton
    Asst Coach: Greg Ostertag

That would be some fun $hit to watch! If the players got into a fight, the coaches would be right there swinging at each other. The tension would be unbelievable! And most importantly, we gotta rock the throwbacks for each team.

Please put down whatever you've been smoking and say hi to Tim Duncan.
