My head says we should at least give Malone a call. My heart, however, says HELL NO.

How the Hell would Malone help us win a title?

He couldn't do it in Utah

He couldn't do it in LA

He'll never get the chance to try to do it here. Thank God.

Irregardless of whether we should sign him or not, here's a reminder of what he said at the press conference:

"When I said I retired from basketball playing, I have retired. You will not see me play again. That is a promise. There will be no unbelievable comebacks. Seen that, didn't like that. Won't do that."

Was Dale Davis waived by the Hawks last week. Dang, we could use him now.

He was waived. He signed with Indy for probably much less money. Dang, I wish Howard's injury could come a week or tow earlier.

If Karl Malone were summoned for heavenly judgment and offered the chance to return to earth for one final act of atonement, that act would be to help win a championship for the Houston Rockets.

Therefore, if he were willing to unretire and play for us, I'd sign him.

Never, he might get a ring! We can't let that happen.

I would rather take my chances on a player that's already on the roster, whose familiar w/ everybody, knows the system and knows his role. Let's see what Padge, Bowen and Baker can bring to the table.

Besides everybody seemed to be in agreement that the Mo trade was good cause it brought us two shorter expiring contracts...plus anything we get out of Vin and Mooch is a bonus. Well here''s the chance to get some "bonus" production out of Vin...and increase his trade value at the same time.

Bring in the worm. I'd love to see Rodman playing for the rockets.

Malone is not "the Answer" that's AI. Hell, Malone isn't even the question. He's just a mailman that doesn't deliver on Sunday or even deliver Championships at all (regardless of the day of the week). Personally, if we have to sign a mailman, I'd prefer we sign Cliff Clavin (at least he's funny and wouldn't flop).

I say sign him, and when we make it to the finals, cut him during halftime of the final game.

Many fans. I seriously believe that many more fans would stay away if Karla was signed. There might be some that come in, but the majority would be going the other way.

I would much rather take my chances without him, for better or worse. Karla Malone is a dirty player, an a**hole, and a loser.
