The rest of my odds- Everything turns around in the next 3-6 months and we return to economic bliss- 0.5% America is wrecked into a very poor third world country by end of year- 1% Denniger is right on target- 20% We find ourselves in a depression and deal with limited civil unrest by years end- 50% (I think it is right about 50-50 chance) We find it was a mild depression/heavy recession and the government stabilizes things w/ unemployment under 15% by years end- 20% It was all a dream- 8.5% (I'm praying for this one) I'm guessing like everyone else- 100%

In cooking classes my wife teaches, what people will do if the economy does collapse comes up often. People always say they will move to a farm and live off the land. And that seems to me to the dumbest plan one could propose. Rimrocker is outdoorsy, so I can kinda see him pulling it off. But, she hears it from petroleum engineers. They don't know anything about growing crops or raising animals. They don't have any equipment. They don't even have land. They'd all starve in a dirt patch.
if something like that was to happen i seriously dont trust people in this country and think that they just too violent and selfish by and large. the only people that might be somewhat family oriented and god fearing that they would avoid killing and stealing and rioting are mormons so if things get that bad u can find me either in utah or new zealand. america has too much greed and too little of god for me to trust people to be good when times are rough. this aint 1920s amerika no more so rhester do u have a place for me in ur church?
