I remember when some people were shocked on how Porzingas has been playing early in the season but later in the season his hype has stopped. Congrats to Townes and i see that Wolves team making the playoffs in the next 2 years.

Clearly the best player in the draft. Those Okafor lovers nowhere to be found. Next Tim Duncan they said...

He's more like the next AL Jefferson / Enes Kanter. Which ain't bad but not what he was hyped to be.

KAT is the best rookie to come into the league since at least Durant if not Lebron.

Okafor, as a rookie is already the best low post scorer in the league. He possesses all the moves and countermoves in the book. When his conditioning will improve, this guy will be a superstar.

He's also one of the worst defenders in the league (so I don't really see how anyone considered him the "next Tim Duncan) and one of the worst passers. If his conditioning improves, his passing improves a lot and his defense makes a few gigantic jumps, he'll be a superstar.

Something interesting to look at: his offensive rating for this year was 99 and his defensive rating was 110. Basically a swap of how those numbers would look if he were a superstar. KAT's ORtg was 112 and his DRtg was 106. KAT needs to improve on defense, but he's clearly a great defender in the making if you watch him play (and 106 isn't terrible...110 is)...Okafor doesn't look like he has a clue on that end.

IMO, Okafor's ceiling is Enes Kanter. Which isn't awful, but it's way short of the hype and a bad ceiling for such a high pick.

Okafor has quite a few post moves and certainly has the talent to be franchise player. However, KAT is a fantastic all around player who is head and shoulders above every other rookie.

Enes Kanter? LOL. Okafor is already a way better scorer than Kanter. Do you actually watch Okafor play ball ?

A true superstar scores at will without requiring a system (Kawhi) and Refs' charity (Harden). Okafor can already, as a rookie, score at will in the post against any other centers in the league.

Agreed. All offense and no defense is a great thing. Being terrible as a low post defender AND a team defender is a good thing. All hail the okafor.

Ironic when one considers that we are on clutchfans, the fanbase for the biggest no-defense scorer in NBA history.
