Kareem, along with Manning and several other DBs, had a terrible day....but what's the point in "gloating" over a player's bad performance during a win and 9-1 season? That pretty much defines a hater if that's what gets you excited today.
Kareen still a having a probowl caliber year. Texans still get a W, still 9-1. Haters like Swoly gonna keep hating.
Kareem did a decent job...Blackmon was just having a huge game...and Henne made some huge throws...only bad play from Kareem was the missed tackle on Blackmon that actually resulted in 6...overall he has had a solid season...
Kareem's worst game of the year. Blackmon was averaging 25 yds a game, 200 yards even the worst CB would not be that bad.
Notice how when the D-line started creating pressure, the coverage all of a sudden seemed to improve. We don't have stellar DB's... but they can seem like they are once the D-line creates pressure.
The secondary's second worst game of the year but everyone of the starters (and Demps) still made critical plays down the stretch that helped win the game so, it is ok.
I'm not a hater and won't take his team-leading interceptions away. Sure, he played better in every other game but this one, but he continues to either have ADD or lapses of his slips and bad coverages time and time again. He has improved, mind you, but he still shouldn't be starting.
I think the whole defense just got caught, perhaps hangover from last week's game. There's a lot of blame to go around: secondary, D-line, Foster, Graham. But bottom-line is they pulled it out. When Kareem is missing tackles (what he does best), you know it's an aberration.
No, I haven't, liljojo. I'm just bringing up his inability to cover properly yesterday. Joseph has 45 tackles, Kareem has 30. When has Joseph played worse? Please point it out. Can't throw out too many stats because it's not fair that situations and plays don't count towards them. I've been watching all games this season. He's still sophomore-like. Hasn't shaken the rookie demons.
even Deion Sanders had bad games. It happens, but even for as bad as he played it still wasn't terrible by any means. And yes, pumping this thread in the manner it was, was stupid.
who bumped this? Kareem is much improved over his embarrassing rookie campaign. Bumping this thread after a bad game when most of the secondary also had a bad game was stupid.
That stat doesn't help your point. When a cornerback has a lot of tackles, it usually means receivers are making catches against them.
This. Also Kareem has been an open field tackling machine, remember when stopped Devin Hester short of the 1st?
Stride for stride with him on multiple occasions, still pissed that Ball somehow ended up on him a few times though.
