that's 1/2 the recipe for having a great defensive backfield. But kareem is now breaking to the ball, can bait the qb to make an errant throw, like he did with cutler and does turn around to locate the ball more times than not.
The pick he had when he left his man was awesome. That is what you call corner back play. Using high fb IQ to make a defensive play. What does not kill you will make you stronger.... vs Lloyd or Welker. Can't wait!
When GQ switched over to safety, I was scratching my my head. I thought that KJ was such a sure tackler and pretty much a lost cause in terms of coverage, it would be obvious that if anyone was to be converted to safety it would be him. Shows you what I know.
it was by design, no way kareem leaves bennett without demps over top. the cushion j-jo gave marshall makes me believe the scheme was to bait the throw.. still a great play by kareem. i dont see the issue with saying it was a designed play.
yeh I agree its not bad saying that was a designed play. the thing here is that he executed the play perfectly, sometimes the def, cordinator designs a play, and they practice during the week, but at the game, the players really doesnt know how to do it, or they do it wrong. kareem (and the rest of the D) greatly executed the play.
Hey, all! How is everyone? Hello. Just... dropping by to remind you... I thought I'd slip in here just to say hello.
That TD was on James. CBs get caught on and miss tackles, but if there's one thing Kareem can do consistently is make the tackle after he gets snagged on. If he doesn't like in this case, someone's supposed to be there to clean up. The 2012 Bradie James overpursue is the new 2010 Kareem Jackson stumble.
So CBS puts Kareem Jackson on the screen after the Jaguars make a touchdown just after he misses the interception on the previous play. Are they idiots, too?
