I understand the horror of what happened in that video, but I was literally expecting a crushed skull. I've seen worse, but that is just sad. I wonder if Blythe knew the guy was dead right after? Weird reactions from everyone in there.

It is not enough, he needs to be beat down every day to an inch of death until he dies...I hope someone burns his house down... BTW, where did you find that? Who was he beaten up by???
same dojo as the murder.. here's something I found on another board: Mentally Challenged man seriously beaten, possibly to death. In a shocking discovery, this brutal and graphic video has just not been posted to the internet. It is a video supposedly taken from December of 1984 in which Bobby J Blythe, a karate "master instructs his student to brutally beat an individual who is seriously mentally ill. This man was later discovered dead in a dumpster and Blythe was never charged. The instructor Bobby J Blythe had this to say about the incident: 'This dummy was in my shopping center while I was on a Bodyguard Job in Washington, DC. This guy was in the Pizza Hut eating pizza off the plates of others and the Pizza Hut Manager ran him out with a pistol. Later the very same day, police officers were called to remove him from a nearby pharmacy after having been caught reaching into customer's purses. A short time after that, he visited a Napa Auto Parts store next to my Karate Dojo and told the management he planned on teaching in that Dojo and that Jesus taught him. 'The Napa guys told him he was confused (their polite way of warning the man against such action), but not wanting to miss a show, they told the man they would close early just to watch and that he must not know the owner, which is nobody to play with.. Needless to say, the police pulled him out of the dumpster behind my Karate Dojo where he was neatly placed. Semper Fi to all my Marine brothers. The karate student in the white is also a Marine Sgt. and a brand new Black Belt. Never get stupid with a Marine, you could get jacked up and have your clock stopped.'" That's all I know.
True they do fail on a basic human level but as a martial arts instructor myself I feel especially disturbed about something like this as it goes against so much of what we are taught. It also besmirches the practice of martial arts. Whether these guys really are trained or not when someone takes on the mantle of a martial art and then goes out and abuses it is something that bothers me.
I'm not going to watch that video. I don't really even want to read about it. Stuff like this happens every day, in one form or another. See sig.
I am not questioning the authenticity of the video, but I don't know about the murder piece. I can't find anything from a reputable source that shows that the guy was actually found dead somewhere. Maybe I just missed it.
In the original post it mentioned that the person's body was found in a dumpster. Whether the person was actually murdered certainly lessens the legal implications of this situation but IMO doesn't lessen the ethical implication. This person was still brutalized by someone with no regard for that persons life or safety.
It was obvious that after the beating the guy was still alive. If they took him out back and dumped him in a dumpster, then that is even worse than the beating. The guy would have died a slow death and probably been bitten by ants while he was dying. I can't see how if they dumped the body that none of the witnesses would make an anonymous call. You can get the sense towards the end that the people watching are saying that it's enough (about a minute too late).

Whoops. I didn't check the first page after looking at the video. I thought the Original video was posted in the first page. FML Ignore my post than!
The guy clearly says he's had enough, and concedes victory to the karate guy several times. This is just brutal, it was clear by the conversation had between the man and the instructor before the beating that the guy was on another planet, he told the instructor Jesus taught him personally. I hope this jacka** gets prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
