Kanye was good when he was on his "Through the Wire" steez.... He lost all of his humility, started to believe his exploration of sound was appreciated and now believes himself to be God. Fool, you aren't even Jay-Z. You'll never be in the same breath as Pac and Big, or even Big L for that matter. You sold out, wifed up the biggest w**** in the game besides Kat Stacks and will do anything for recognition. Tired of Kanye. Stick to producing. We don't believe you.

i consider any producer that can rap like kanye to be a better artist than the likes of JayZ, because they make their own music....that being said, i find it ironic that kanye who considers himself the "greatest," constantly seeks recognition from those "lower" than him, then again I think for him its all an act

Yes, those people may be the ones mentioned when speaking greatest rappers ever, but Kanye is going to be discussed years from now among the greatest artists ever and those guys most likely will not. Him exploring new sounds may not be appreciated by you, but you are in the minority there. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best albums ever made. And I know he seems to constantly need validation, but that all leads to who he is. If he didn't have all that stuff, I'm not sure he'd put out music like this. And him being so public kind of makes the music more personal, if that makes sense. I listen to a TON of music and I genuinely believe hes the best artist of the past 10 years. His early "Through the Wire" type stuff was great and so is the new stuff. So many people purely write him off because of his antics. But he could do whatever he wants as long as he keeps putting out great albums in my opinion. There are much worse people in the music industry anyway.
