Kanye West vs Jimmy Kimmel

I can't help but wonder if the two of them are just trolling us. There's no such thing as bad publicity in Hollywood (unless you're addicted to drugs or banging prostitutes).

 

I think you're at least half right...Kanye is trolling Jimmy, at minimum.

 

Haven't seen Kimmel in a while. Didn't realize he had lost so much weight.

 

Kanye West needs to go far far away.

 

I don't think he's bright enough to even understand the concept of trolling.

 

Kanye is actually very smart. Don't let the "angry black man" persona fool you.

 

Seems like he's at least smart enough to know Jimmy will bring it up on tv.

 

It's not an angry black man thing. It's that he says stupid things and seems to have a very inflated view of himself, which to me is itself a sign of stupidity.

Fair enough. And given Jimmy's recent "twerk fail" video thing, it is not completely impossible... but I still doubt it.

 

What would have been funnier is when he read the line about good "******" he said, I've seen the video. It's not that good.

Either way, Kimmel is a funny guy. Something about his delivery.

 

I go back-and-forth as to whether Kanye is the most or least self-aware person on the face of the planet.

 

Nah this is some publicity stuff.

Kanye needs to take his money and disappear from the limelight. I've never seen someone so privileged act so repressed. The guy came from parents whom both had graduate degrees and he was in college when he went in to music. He's made millions yet by the way he acts you'd think he was some sort of homeless man that just can't catch a break because the whole world is against him. He needs to chill out and be thankful for what he has.

If he has a problem with the video..then maybe he shouldn't have said those things - its darn near word for word what he said. He's like Eminem..he likes to dish crap..but he sure can't take it back.

 

Yea but you make it seem like trolling is a concept that only geniuses can understand. When in fact, very stupid people can troll many. It's not that hard. Don't think he's trolling here though

You obviously don't have to be a genius, but you do have to have some level of awareness, which I'm not sure he has.

 

Kanye has the emotional fortitude of a 6 year old.

 

Kanye is a creative genius. He just doesn't see the world as us lay people do.

Like he is just not some rapper like Jay or Em, who while talented, are just great at dropping bars.

Kanye is an artist in every sense. He has average rhymes but his music is still amazing just because he's so gifted creatively.

He's eccentric, that is all.
