I bet you were one of those people who said that when eminem got a face full of bruno's manhood it wasn't staged because Em would never agree to degrade himself like that.
There's a lot of amazing (new) rap music out there. It might not be mainstream/"pop", but it certainly isn't all crap.
Yeah, I'll second that. I don't listen to rap too much these days, but know there is good stuff out there. The rap that is crap (t-pain, kanye, flo rida, etc) all falls in the pop category for me. As well as $#!+ rock like nickelback.
It really doesn't matter if it was real or fake. Kanye is still a douche for doing this either way. But it's real. There's nothing Taylor Swift gets out of this. It's her only VMA win and she agrees to have it overshadowed by a douchebag? If she did agree to this, then she is just as much of a dumbazz as Kanye. Kanye wouldn't care if hehad to say this as part of an act because he's a total douche and will do anything for attention.

Ok lets try and figure out what the MTV people were thinking when they 'thought' of these 'staged' events. 'Hey, Eminem portrays himself as a tough/slightly homophobic guy, wouldnt it be hilarious if sasha baron cohen dropped on top of him 69 style wearing pretty much nothing?' Yes, yes it would. 'Hey, Taylor Swift is a pretty nice and harmless girl, wouldnt it be funny bringing an already-known-douchebag up so he can steal the mic from her midway through her first ever VMA award speech to announce to the crowd that he thinks another contestants video was the best?' No, no it wouldnt. The kanye/taylor incident very may have well been staged, but Id like to think MTV has atleast a little decency left.
Yeah, I couldn't remember his name. I also have to second the other posts about watching MediaTV after the age of twenty. I haven't watched that channel since the 90s. I've pretty much cut out Disney Sports as well over the last year too, except for PTI of course.
Gotta disagree wit all of u dat was pretty funny and lets be honest..Beyonce clearly shoudlve won dat
The funny thing about Kanye is...he's one of the few "mainstream" hip-hop artists that most true hip-hop fans still respect (myself included). Sure, he's full of himself, but the man knows how to make beats.
i'm a huge kanye west fan, but he really ****ed himself this time, they said he had a bottle of hennessey with him, still no excuse though.
Why would Kanye willingly risk damage to his public image even further, thus hurting his financial income? Even if MTV paid him to do it, I doubt it would be anything close to compensating for his potential loss in future earnings. Though, Kanye is an idiot and probably doesn't think any further than dinnertime.
Kanye has the voice of an idiot. The voice of the village idiots. Intelligent African Americans must cringe whenever his dumbass opens his mouth...
