His planned concert at Gov Ball got canceled so he literally announced an impromptu show at 2am about 1.5 hours ago and look at the amount of people to already show up. I know I'm just a huge Kanye fan but is this not legendary status? 2 am on a Monday and the entire block is already shut down packed. Epic.
For real. So many things can go wrong. And then who would be to blame? If he really cared about his fans and wanted to perform for free, their are sensible ways to go about it. As usual, its just Kanye being an attention w****.
Please, it was a 2 AM on a Monday and he gave about 2 hours notice for the event. How was Kanye supposed to know that so many people would show up? Kanye underestimated his fandom. Anyways I followed the whole thing unfold live on social media. It was crazy and would've been an unforgettable experience for those who were actually there. It was fascinating following people on Periscope. So many people were streaming live at the event, inside the venue, outside the venue, running to Trump SoHo, running to another venue, etc. Seeing different perspectives of the same event unfolding LIVE was surreal.

when @kanyewest is getting mobbed by screaming fans right across your dorm pic.twitter.com/PMVJWD6MAw
— Eric Liang (@hiEricLiang) June 6, 2016
 http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york...p-up-show-turns-chaotic-mob-article-1.2662495
what a bunch of lame fanbois! chasing after his car and screaming like little girls, so embarrassing.
Kanye? His last good album was in 2010...He may get back to that, but the kardashian curse needs to be broken first.
MBDTF was motivated by Kim Kardashian. Yeezus/Pablo were also pretty good albums. Not the best but still quality and better than any album Drake has put out.
nothing but a publicity stunt. he knew doing it this way would cause havoc and get shut down. so he can just say it was "out of his control" and still reap the benefits of his stans flooding the streets. smart play. doubt he had any intentions of doing a real show.
So, the news is that Kanye had a concert canceled, so he announced another concert that also got canceled? I guess the lesson to be learned is "don't trust Kanye".
