    your opinion is "Cray"
    lol.
I like them both actually, but I actually prefer the "College Dropout" and "Late Registration" days for Kanye before he starting becoming a total douchebag.

Interrupting your regularly scheduled broadcast, some real hip hop. Yes it still exists.

Only place you'll see negative opinions about his music are on the internet. Where if you have reached a certain level of popularity people will dislike you because it's the seemingly cool thing to do.

Who ever said Lil Wayne is better than Kanye on a overall level? Pleaaase.
Kanye was one of the biggest stars with his first three albums, you can consider them classic. His productions for guys like Common were just beautiful.
Lil Wayne was a good rapper at the early stages of his career, Carter I and II were dope, his early mixtapes had everyone hyped. But he fell of HARD since then and developed into a 24/7 high pop-rapper with love for ****ty autotune and fame.
Not to say that Kanye hasn't become a pop-rapper as well, but he's still way more talented and inspring a lot of people with his work and production.

Lil Wayne used to be good in his early days... Hot Boys - Guerilla Warfare is still one of my favorite albums (Lil Wayne stood out in the group)... Then the Block is Hot was fire... But after that , it went all down hill IMO... He still jammin, just with no substance...

Kanye is great in his own right..As somenone mentioned, his production was top notch in the early 2000's... Its still good but its predictable .... You pretty much know its a musical with rap over it.... Sounds good when its a single, but wouldn't wanna hear a whole album of the same ****..... He's gonna be relevant for a while because of his production skills for himslf and others....

This isn't anything special. Lyrics were average.

I think there are still a couple of dozen of rappers that represent decent hip hop/rap, but they are the last of a dying breed.

Hip Hop is alive and well, but if you want to hear it, you need the vets like Nas, Common, Meth, Red, AZ and the UNDERRATED Slaughterhouse. Joe Budden will never get the respect he deserves for staying true to lyricism.

If I had to choose between Ye and Weezy, I'd go with Kanye for a bit more substance and delivery.

    Ten producers better than Kayne:
    Madlib
    Oh No
    Black Milk
    Kno (of CunninLynguists)
    Damu the Fudgemunk
    Alchemist
    King Midas (of H.I.S.D.)
    Exile
    ?uestlove
    Flying Lotus

...and those are just guys who I think are better than Kanye currently. If we're talking about all-time I would add names like J Dilla, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, RZA, Large Professor, etc.

I used to buy every album and mixtape messiah that he released, but I quit listening after mixtape messiah 3. Can't believe he's on part 7 now. I'll catch up one day.

Lil Wayne is ****ing terrible. Kanye puts out some catchy stuff. I played the hell out of his Graduation album. So yes, Kanye > Lil Wayne. The only people I've ever known who actually like Lil Wayne are teenage hipster skateboarders.
