this sounds ominous for the economy and energy prices

Dems have a singular obsession with this issue poll after poll shows voters don't care about.

But like COVID, it gives a pretense for comprehensive national controls over our lives.

The July jobs report crushed both expectations and Republican hopes for bad economic news. The economy added 528,000 jobs, defying predictions of 250,000 new jobs. Unemployment fell to 3.5%—or, economist Justin Wolfers tweeted, more precisely 3.46%, which would be “THE LOWEST UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN OVER HALF A CENTURY.”

Are they just in politics to play politics or will they ever come up with ANYTHING that is important to the amercian people

The economy would be in a much worse state if not for Joe Bidens policies. If a republican was in the WH trust me people would be worse off

As @gifford1967 post noted it’s been quite a week for the Biden Administration and Democratic Congress. I’m not expecting many Republicans to suddenly come around. What I am surprised is how little credit Biden is getting from Democrats and how many are openly talking about how they don’t want him to run again. Even without this latest bill passing he’s passed more consequential legislation in less than 2 years than Obama did then much of his two terms. He’s also passed much of it with bipartisan support.

I never liked Biden personally. I always thought he was hokey, had problems recounting things and he still is all that. I have to give him credit though. He is a legislative deal maker and knows how to work with Congress.

Y’all are over here celebrating Americans getting health insurance and jobs but ignoring that Hunter Biden smoked crack. But why would I expect anything else from the libtards?
