I would never say yao is the best center before he can get a ring. A best center with no ring is shameful. Many yaofans like to argue if yao is the No.1 center in the league now. I think it is funny and meaningless. No one will respect a No.1 center who had never passed the first round in the playoffs.

Even LeBron played poorly in the 07-08 playoffs, he still played way better than T-Mac. LeBron took 21.2 FGAs and was 28.2 PPG. T-Mac? 24.3 PGAs and 27.0 PPG. For 2006-07 playoffs, LeBron has 20 FGAs and scored 25.1 per game. T-Mac scored 25.3 with 22.9 FGAs. How did you find that T-Mac is comparable with LeBron? I guess I could score 20 if I took 100 shots, that doesn't mean I could be a NBA or even a NBDL player.

What I am trying to say is that the gap between T-Mac and LeBron is huge, huge. You really should check your resources before drawing conclusion like that. Being realistic doesn't mean negative to your team, it will help to value your players.

I'm Chinese and I think Tmac is highly overrated. Does that make me a "player only fan"? Does that make me a bandwagon fan? Do you think your knowledge of the Rockets is greater than mine because I'm Chinese?

That explains you're constant tmac bashing and yao excuses.

I'd wager $500 that my knowledge of the Rockets exceeds yours.

And because you seem like an idiot, I'd wager $1,000 that my IQ is higher than yours as well.

I dont think i couldve said it any better. Before last yr my sig was get Artest and Darko. I thought both would help the rox pretty good. Artest was obvious because he was tough, could get his own shot, defend like crazy and was a little crazy. Afetr the playoffs in orlando, i thought darko was rounding into a solid player. I thought playing with the rox he would be able to play pf and avg 10ppg 8 rebs and 2 blks, then when yao needed a breather he could slide over and play center. Now i didn't think he would get fulll mle money or was even worth that, but that was me. The trade of artest really blows the horn on the entire thinking of the team. There were many that thought if healthy, this team could do special things. I never bought into that because at the time Rafer Alston was your 3rd best offensive player. Even afetr losing for the 2nd time to the jazz, people thought the rox should trot out the same lame playoff type team. I'm glad they came to their senses and made the move to get a legit guy that on some nights will be the #1 option on the floor. Gone are the days of not being able to take advantage of smaller, lighter 3 men. Gone are the days when if Tracy or yao is struggling we have to depend on rafer. Now the balance is back where it needs to be. Scola is ur 4th option and rafer is probably the 5th which is about where the belong. I know the olympics have people drooling over scola, but i think asking him to be more than 12pts, then its a little out his zone. Mcgrady,Yao and company now have a realistic shot to win the title, not just the 1st rd.

A huge problem right now is, Mcgrady hasn't choked in the playoffs yet but we act like he has. All his playoffs performances were phenomenal, but the problem is he couldn't finish it. To me, this is like one of those sports movies where a great player always attempts to do everything himself, but realises he just won't get it done without the help of teammates.

To a certain degree, Yao has choked (our first meeting vs Jazz) and so has JVG's coaching along with the rest of the rocket players more than McGrady.

It does make others feel better to get a scapegoat so clutchcity remains clutchcity. In this case, McGrady is our target for choking (dispite his historical performances) and blaming. For other fans, they like to say the Rockets choked, for Rocket fans, they like to say McGrady choked.

And the fact is if yao were to be traded or leave to another team, you would all of a sudden become a hardcore fan of that team.

I was born and raised in Houston. I've been a fan of them since grade school. You think you know everything about me just b/c I'm Chinese?

I was even willing to bet that my Rockets knowledge was greater than yours. Wouldn't that imply I've been a Rockets fan longer than Yao has been a Rocket?

    You're an idiot.
