I have to admit that I was fooled by JCDenton at first. I thought he was just an idiot starting idiot threads. Now I realize he is just a troll trying to be funny. Sometimes in the GARM it's hard to distinguish the idiots from the trolls.

R2K called JCDenton "HOSS" why is that so damn funny to me?

I would like to start a motion, if JCDenton gets banned for Martin shooting over 40% and or for welching on his bet, and decides to sign back up he must use the user name "HOSS"

Just noticed the change to the title of the thread. Warning, be very careful what you read while you are drinking scalding hot coffee!

You do realize that if Martin plays the final 10 games and keeps taking shots at his current rate (15.2/game) that he'd have to shoot 33% from the floor over those final 10 games in order to finish with a FG% under 40% (with the Rockets). Based on his entire history in the NBA what leads you to believe that he'd shoot that poorly for 10 game stretch?

I guess what I find most amusing about the nick name give by the OP to Kevin Martin is K-Brick. He has a career FG% of almost .450 and is right at .440 with the Rockets coming off a broken wrist and playing with a bad shoulder. Surely if someone wanted to give him a derogatory nick name they could choose another part of his game to attack.

Knee-Mart could have been his nickname, if he had Knee-Mac's problems.

You know I didn't bother to read this post thoroughly the first time -- I just saw the graph and was like "oh boy, another dumb thread", and as I am wont to do in such situations, took another lengthy excursion from the GARM.

So today I open the GARM and noticed the thread title had been changed ... so I thought perhaps I needed to read a little bit more thoroughly. I certainly was not prepared for the magnitude of stupid packed into that one post. It was like a "but wait, there's more!" thing ... I'm flipping through pages and I discover that he also dropped gems like "you will be asked to leave my thread" and "please direct your attention to the HIGHLY DETAILED GRAPH I have prepared."

Very entertaining, OP. Please try harder next time, for amusement's sake.

Uhoh! Morey the statistician needs to look out, JCDenton is showing some promising skills here!

You need to show me how to use Excel sometime. Your ability to distinguish what goes on the X-axis and what goes on the Y-axis is impeccable

Why is this thread still open? Why hasn't an administrator closed this thing down?
