With the remaining games left on the season it's fair assume Kevin Martin could finish with an extra 10 games or more played. So the numbers we are likely looking at according to your graph are about 60 games played in 07 and 50 games played in both 08 and 09.

Steve Nash two time MVP went through a very similar stretch when he was traded to Dallas. In his first two years in the league he did not appear to have too much trouble staying healthy (in Phoenix) but in Dallas he only played 40 games and 55 games due to the inability to stay healthy. People in Dallas were calling for Robert Pack to start games (but he could not stay healthy). Fast forward to now and Nash has had very few health issues since and has played at least 74 or more games in each season playing all 82 twice.

I think JCDenton is serious. He's not another Almu/Clutch joke.

I don't agree with the K-Brick and all that stuff. I do like martin as a player. I wanted Iggy, but philly or the rockets couldn't get a deal done or one wasn't even explored. I will say this though and this is why i wanted iggy over martin or butler over martin is he doesn't play well hurt and he get urt often. I don't know if he will turn around the injuries like maggette and become less injured or if he will be like tracy and get worse with age. I guess we will have to live with whatever, but it worries me some that we replaced injury prone tracy with injury prone martin. Toughness isn't one of his better qualities.

And I also heard Morey over the radio (was it the Bill Simmons interview?) that they know Kevin has a history of injuries. He may miss a few games during the regular season but as long as he is healthy come playoff time, it's okay.

JCDenton dude, fess up. What have you got against KMart? Are you a Tmac fan? Landry fan? Or Kings fan? Cause for sure you're not a stats guy and your logic that Kevin will be playing 20 games a year doesn't hold up. But thanks for opening this thread--it really made me laugh.

I just find it funny that you wanna hold a mature conversation about kevin martin helping the team winning a championship by calling him K-brick

He has missed games every year. It's just that he used to play only 63 games max in a season. Last season, he played only 62 games, but this year he is healthier.

If you call a player "brick" I would expect you to talk something about his shooting. No?

JC Denton- clutchfans source for comedy, night in and night out.

I find it hard to believe this guy is serious. When he writes stuff like: "the highly detailed graph I have prepared" on top of a single line, excel line graph of games played per season? And calls that a "detailed statistical analysis". I'm pretty sure he's just yanking our chains.

Maybe Clutch pays him to come and entertain us now that playoff hopes are dead.
