I totally agree. I never realized how good of a Carlisle until they lost all those players to injuries and suspensions. And altho the pacers play with some hard-nosed defense, they made a 180 on their offense sets took a huge 180 after acquiring Peja. They have much more screen & rolls, a on ton of jump shots, and virtually no inside-out game (altho that's mainly O'Neal has been out). But those are the adjustments he made IMMEDIATELY. They didn't force the players to a set system. FAIL. Adjust a bit. FAIL. Adjust a wee bit more. FAIL. and decide, "Screw it, I'll just pound my players into playing my type of ball, cuz making adjustments just don't work."
