    good post!

It seems that steve will not play this season or he will be traded!
If RA wants to play steve,he should play him vs grizzes and lakers game.

guys,do all you still remember in 2001,when RA is coaching the King,in a game steve said something not polite to reply to the benchs and their coach(RA) of the kings.

So RA still didnt forget that ,he is in retaliation for steve by totally put him in a doghouse.

RA is a selfish man,he pay much more attention to his reputation than the rox's win,

Yep. Rick Adelman is concerned not with putting the best combinations out there on the court to help the team win, he is more concerned about a personal vendetta that happened 6 years ago in a meaningless regular season game.

Pssst. It couldnt be that Francis has done so poorly in practice that despite Alston's troubles from the field he is really not a better option at this time. Nope, that couldnt be it. Its gotta be some RA = Hitler thing.....

RA used to use a 8 or 9 men rotation

you guys need a clue. there is NO Adelmand and Francis fued. NOTHING is personal.this is the same coach that got along with Bonzi Wells, Ron Artest, and Rasheed Wallace. this is the coach that brought the Portland Jailblazers to the ECFs. Adelman has fueds with NO ONE. the person at fault is STEVE, always has been and always will be. he just doesn't fit this offense, or any other offense that doesnt revolve around him. Adelman had an open mind when he took this job. he thought Francis would be his starter, but obviously not anymore once he saw his inability to pick up any sort of motion offense.

    GET A CLUE!!

What do you mean used to? He uses 9-10 players regularly now:

    1) Yao
    2) Rafer
    3) Tmac
    4) Battier
    5) Hayes
    6) Scola
    7) James
    8) Head
    9) Bonzi
    10) Mutumbo

He was referring to Portland and Sacremento. In Sac, they usually had Bobby Jackson backing up both guards, then a big and small forward coming off the bench regularly, with another swing used sparingly.

Rick Adelman needs to understand that it is up to him to realize the value of the trades made by Morey. Steve might have attitude problem, Steve might have conditioning problem, but Rich Adelman needs to understand and accept that these things came with the deal: a low cost, high potential deal. Players like Bonzi last year and Steve this year accepted low salary offers from the Rockets for a reason. As a coach, you have to accept that they are in less than perfect conditions, mentally and physically. However, they are very talented players and they have high potentials. It is up to the coach to turn the potentials into value. JVG failed to do that for Bonzi. Rick Adelman failed to do that for Steve. The only difference is that it is still not too late for Rich Adelman to make a change.

It's not Rick's job to make Morey's trades look good. He has only one job -- winning. If he thinks the team's best shot at winning is primarily sticking with guys who were here a year ago, then that's what he should do.

theres a big difference between bonzi and SF3, with bonzi it was clear that JVG did not like him, and bonzi was not helping himself.

While with SF3, there is 2 players in front of him that have prove to the coach "during the PRESEASON" that they are playing better than SF3. Its a case of letting the players play out of their slump, and thats the choice RA have taken. I just hope we start to see more SF3 with Tmac out injured now, instead of synder who did made both his shots which includes a 3 pointer.

The Rick Stubburn needs show the fans that SF3 is too fat to paly, just put him into the floor. Did G. W. Bush tell the whole world that Iraq had a (****) which was never found. Many fans pay the money to see his plays. Overall, the NBA is the business.

Meeting of Morey, Les, and Ricky

Les - "Ricky, the whole Francis thing is a PR nightmare, the Chinese shoe deal is at risk, the Chinese fans are complaining, the Houston fans are upset, this can't continue.
Morey - "It looks like you and Francis are having a feud, and you have a vendetta against him."
Ricky - "Look, I am just trying to get someone to make an open shot."
Les - "That's the point, the guards look horrible, and everybody gets off the bench but Steve."
Ricky - "I told you I didn't want him in the first place, he has no concept of my offense, is turnover prone, and over dribbles."
Morey- "Well for God's sake, do something; put him in for a few minutes, let's defuse the situation. He can't do much worse than the other guards."
Les - "Come on, Ricky, this isn't backyard botchi ball, we are a corporation, our customers are upset, that's bad for business."
    Ricky - "I just won't do it, I don't like him."
Les and Morey look at each other

    More like:

Les: Listen to those fans scream for Steve as if he is still an all star!
Rick: Can you believe fans actually think a guy that was paid 30 million to NOT play for Portland, who sat on the bench for two lottery teams in the east and couldn't beat out Rafer is the answer?
Morey: Yeah fans can be pretty crazy some times. Remember they thought VSpan was the "missing link" last year. lol. I admit I expected Steve to contribute, but so far he just hasn't lived up to expectations. I guess it shouldn't have been that surprising based on his recent history though. The funny thing is the fans are starting rumors that you "hate Steve" and that is why he isn't playing.
Rick: ha, ha, ha. Believe me if I thought Steve was the answer he would be in there. I was planning on starting him coming into the season remember? The problem is he makes poor decisions, plays poor defense and his biggest strength is dominating the ball and playing ISO, which doesn't exactly bode well for a motion offense that our team is already having problems learning.
Les: At least Steve came cheap. He is causing a casual fan public relations head ache though.
Morey: Well at least with TMac out Steve may get a chance to step up.
Rick: Yeah his ISO style won't be quite as disruptive without TMac in there, especially with all our role players going ICE COLD so far this season. Maybe he can provide some scoring relief til Tmac gets back.
Morey Yeah fans get so caught up in who is scoring and who isn't that they lose track of the big picture. Still with our shooting lately I can understand the fan frustration. I expect our guys to improve significantly as they learn the offense and get their shooting % back to normal. It's going to be scary how good we can be in the games where everyone's shot is on.
Rick: Everyone's shot on? Shoot I would be thrilled if they could just hit their career averages! I never thought I would see the day where Rafer shooting 38% would be a welcome improvement!
    everyone lol

JVG does not, and will never understand the concept of a "rotation". JVG coaches like kids play NBA Live games. It's ok, I can play almost the same line-up the entire game. I'm not saying RA is better (with the Rox), but he is known to be better at incorporating more players into a true rotation.
