Team policy in the clutch has to be, throw it into yao, if he has the shot, he takes it. if not, he is bound to be tripled and hence that will atleast creat a open shot for someone else. if yao dose not have a good enough position, run a ISO for tracy and let him creat a shot for himself or someone else. i believe when you have a dominante 7'6 330 pound lion in the block, he is the best bet.
only when he is not tired. Otherwise that lion might be exhausted and can't even eat a lamb. So I say Yao's top priority is his endurance.
Dude, you're more intelligent then that. anyone with half a brain knows that it will take a commited effort on the parts of both our superstars to get us our 3rd ring. yao or tracy will never win a rng bythenselves. but what makes this combo so special is, that if they unite and get our supporting crew going, we can win a ring with this tandom working side-by-side. it takes two to tango.
I understand. What I mean is that Yao's performance fluctuation not only in different games but within a same game. When healthy and fresh, Yao's skill makes him the best and the most efficient player. But when he is tired, he is very inefficient and turnover prone, which could cost us the game. If his trainers could improve his endurance, that's the best news for Rockets in playoffs.
I'm not worried about he's condition at all buddy. . if you go back to the that MVP run prior to that devestating injury, he was running out games with a great deal of ease. once he gets back to that level(which requiers gametime ) we'll be fine. it will probaly take nother 10 to 15 games before yao is cracking on all cylinders. cant wait..
Come on now. Our two superstars have a great chemistry. If we are fighting over sides on Tmac and Yao, who gets along really well both on and off the court, then I can only imagine how Kobe only Fans and Shaq only fans were acting when those two dynamic duos were at each other's throats.
Read my previous posts more carefully, and you would know that this is exacly what I have been saying over and over again.
I know that. i was implying that dont argue with nitwitts and dirt brains who in this thread are being blind tracy haters. we know there agenda man. dont sink into there putrid level. i was talking bad about you man.
I agree, though I think most people have been aware of the troublemakers (liu1107, etc.) for some time. As I said yesterday, I don't have problem with people liking individual players. I happen to be in that group myself. What I don't care for, however, is people who seem to be more interested in seeing specific players succeed, rather than the team the player in question is part of. Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming are amonst the elite players in the NBA, but ultimately, both will be judged based on the success of the Rockets, not on their individual accomplishments. I suspect that most McGrady fans have vivid memories of the '03-04 season, and that the poor performace of the Orlando Magic- in spite of a strong individual season by McGrady- has changed the perception of McGrady throughout the NBA. I would hope, therefore, that most McGrady fans have no desire whatsoever to repeat that experience, and would have more appreciation for a player of Yao Ming's caliber. The Yao fans, by contrast, have never experienced losing to the degree that McGrady did three seasons ago, and don't understand the impact of the absence of another star player can have. They don't like McGrady, but have never been in a position to see what affect his absence would have on the long-term performance of Yao and the Rockets.
Why would any Houston Rockets Fan be talking badly about Tracy McGrady? Thery don't have any reason to be talking that way because: a] He is a Houston Rocket b] He seems to be playing Ok with his back problem c] He is our best playmaker d] He is a super Star e] He can score in bunches and can beat the best off the dribble. f] His talent is not easy to replace. g] He is the team's most capable passer into Yao Ming.
tmac fans know. tmac cannot do it alone. nobody can. no need to remind. tmac needs yao to be at his best if he wants to do anything in the playoffs.
