    Oh, we know, we know.....

Now whether Adelman is any better, we don't know..but we know that JVG wasn't getting it done.

I have not seen Shane or Artest shut Kobe down this season, last year Shane did it but this year looks like Kobe learned from experience.

Kobe can sink contested jumpers better than most players can sink wide open jumpshots.

But the Lakers CAN stop Yao if they front him every time down the court.

I agree that it was a mistake but from what I understand Morey wanted him to stay but Les was ready to move in a new direction.

    Man you guys kill me.....

You basically hate anyone who doesn't agree with what you are saying. Mark Jackson has stood by his statements with Yao and I give him credit for that.

Last year you guys were hating on Barkley because he stated that the Rockets would not get out of the first round. There's a time to be a homer and a time to look at the reality of the whole thing.

Right now i'm in a wait and see mode...

    1) Will Yao step up to the challenge, Playoffs are not like the regular season and there will be adjustments on almost every quarter and every game.

    2) Which Ron will show up... The one that plays team ball or the one that says "I am the man and the HELL with everyone else".

    3) Will the bench come thru... Last year Utah Doubled and tripled McGrady and dared someone else to step up (we saw how that turned out).

    4) Will Wafer also play team ball or decide he's the next coming of Michael Jordan.

    5) How will the defense do... They still haven't killed the "let the other team back in the game in the 4th quarter monkey".

    6) Will Aldeman make adjustments are just sit there as a spectator...

So as I stated i'm in the wait and see mode...

Actually I think the Blazers are a good match too. Outside of them I think we're have the best shot of beating them. We just need to do better than 5-30 3s and 20 TO's.

Hmmm. Van Gundy's blind homerism vs. Jackson's mindboggling idiocy. It's a tough call.

JVG is crazy because Gasol can shut down Yao as much as Okur did.

the rockets have no chance against the lakers....

the lakers collective b-ball IQ, offensive fluidity, and consistency far exceed the rockets.

there is zero chance the rockets beat the lakers in a series.

JVG is such a homer its sickening. Yao is not as unstoppable as Kobe is, otherwise we'd be a lock to the WCF.

This is also the guy who said you won't out-talent anyone at this level. He would probably choose Charles Oakley instead of a guy like Pau Gasol. And we're wondering why we only had 4 players score in a playoff game under JVG.

not only that like someone else says he hardly adds anything new to a conversation and just says the same typical commentating and what's hot in the NBA. I question his basketball knowledge and he is so full of himself. Didn't he roll his eyes when Van Gundy said Rockets would challenge the Lakers in front of the camera? I mean Van Gundy is an obvious blatant homer but what a way to be an a**hole and roll your eyes so obviously.

Actually Lakers defend Rox quite good in regular season. Their role players shut ours down. If we don't have so many offensing problem, we can have a chance.
