Steve and JVG back together again!

I'm with Clutch, we could and should ask for compensation, but if they are willing to throw us a pick or willing to trade wink-deal Howard for Crawford, then let him go.

We would be in the playoffs. Are you so sure?

I think Francis, Marbury, Frye, Curry, Richardson, Rose and Crawford are a MUCH more talented squad, then say:

Howard, Wesley, Alston, Head, an aging Mutombo, and BOWEN.

It is amazing what JVG has done with our roster, win-wise.

And Brown with that roster which is very talented is in lotto-land, when he should be in the playoffs, if he is as great a coach as you say he is.

JVG always has a special feeling for Knicks, which is why he hired so many ex-knicks in just three years. Image how happy he will be when he is back to New York and surrounded by all Knicks.

I will cry if that happens. I am so moved. Go, JVG, pack immediately.

Personally, I don't give a damn on Larry Brown, I never see such an old attention HO before.

So, is this summer just going to consist of made up scenarios being discussed ad nauseam?

Leave Ming and TMac, take the rest. Don't bother to write.

P.S. take CD, the entire Rocket's management team, the scouts, etc. Maybe, Les, too. What the heck, take the Toyota Center.

Honestly though...all I am saying is that we lost a lot of games that we should of won...even when McGrady and/or Yao was playing...the close games that we lost under the supervision of JVG...under a different coach we most likely would of won or atleast would of had a better chance of winning.

Coaching Kobe would make anyone not want to coach ever again. So? The Houston Rockets are a different situation.

I'd like to see where he said that anyway. I remember it was just bc he came back too soon and the Lakers were a mess.

I want to say "C. Go but with compensation" but it depends what the compensation is. I know beggars can't be choosy but Yao and Tmac are absolutely off limits; also I don't want to give up our 1st round pick this year but anything else is okay. Even if they want their second round pick back... if they take JVG back they can have their pick and another pick later. Oh what the hell they can have this years first round pick but they have to take JHO and Wesley as well as Van Dummy.

I'm not sure if you're serious or just displaying your "Van Gundy hate sarcasm", but if there's compensation involved, it would be the Knicks giving something to us since we have JVG under contract.

I've got news for all you "Trade JVG" people....

You could have freakin' Arnold "Red" Auerback himself coaching the Houston Rockets and it wouldn't make a hilll of beans with the talent pool we have here. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is the Rudy T and CD legacy we are stuck with, thanks to all the bad draft picks over the last 10 years. Yes we did bring all these guys in over the past year or two but based on what we had to trade with (ala MoTay, Cato, etc) what were you expecting?

But hey if it makes you feel good to blame it all on the coach who am I to steal your joy....

Yes, the rockets were oh so depleted last year and looked like a lotto team from the start of this season as well.

JVG has proven himself to be a competent coach at times, but is that enough? I used to think so but I'm not so sure now.
