I don't think the Heat will fail due to chemistry problems, but I don't think they have the balance and depth to dominate all the way into the playoffs. I don't think it's even an issue of chemistry. They will do damage, but consider the possibility of one of three suffering a long-term injury or something else. The current team isn't built to sustain all of that. Obviously, they have 3 of the best players in the league, so they're not going to have anything less than 55 wins.

I just don't see them running through the league without any problem like many others do.

I know that's my point though. If Bosh is your 3rd player then things must look pretty good for your top 2 players which in this case they do. He's the easiest to stop because the other two are arguably the top 2 players in the league.

But Bosh won't be easy to stop at all.

lmao. karma? really? how is this a case of karma? another word that is overused and not even in the right context. when you do something bad, something bad happens right back to you right? how is lebron and bosh joining the heat something that deserves bad karma? if a person robbed or killed somebody, sure I understand throwing karma out there but seriously? this is karma?

They have a better bench than the Lakers did. Miller > Brown or Farmar easy, but I'd also take Arroyo over them because of his experience. Odom > Haslem but Haslem is the perennial role-player who's consistently solid all year long. The Lakers went 8-deep a majority of the time and the Heat will handle 8-deep better because their superstars are younger (so they can handle the minutes well) and there's 3 of them as opposed to 2.

Without Pau or Kobe on the floor, the Lakers bench was inconsistent. With the Heat, at least one of the big 3 will always be on the floor and each of them as the experience of carrying a team.

Two seasons ago Wade was injured and looked like he was never going to be the same again. That same season Tmac was considered a superstar.

Injuries will be the determining factor with these guys and we could be singing a seriously different tune.

Please, LeBron may have a history of not coming thru in the playoffs but he is a monster throughout the regular season.

JVG is pretty much right on in terms of the kind of season this team is going to have.

You can pretty much say that about any team in the NBA.

Injuries injuries injuries. Of course they can kill any team.

And I wouldn't even call it a history. It started in one game this year and then people tried to make up stuff by claiming LeBron quit in playoff games before this year.

    Greatest team ever? No
Best 1 on 1 talent? Easily. maybe in the NBA the last 30 years. I can't recall so much 1 on 1 talent ever on the same team in their primes within the last 20-25 years. From an overall standpoint - a few things that stick out for me:

    Center Position/Interior

If they had a starting caliber 2-way Center on this Miami team - I would pick them to win it all and challenge the NBA record books. As it stands, I feel their weakness at Center and lack of defense at the perimeter will combine for some issues potentially in the playoffs. They could overcome it, but few teams have shown they can win without controlling the paint.

LA, SA, Boston, Miami, Detroit .... all of these teams who make up for the last 12 championships had the ability to control the interior game.

So they're far from perfect, they're damn good on paper, but teams play the season for a reason . .

easy on the bold, please. your post isn't specialer than anyone else's, so you don't need to make it stand out like that.

I believe they'll have big-Z starting at center. While he's no spring chicken, he is quite solid. With him and Bosh on the front line, I'm not seeing real big problems on their interior.

Their perimeter defense is quite strong so they may be able to keep a lot of the smaller guys from getting into the paint in the first place.

Center. Joel Anthony can block shots and has size but he can't score. Big Z can score and space out the floor (has great chemistry with LBJ) but at his age you question his defense (which was always suspect) and how he'll defend the screen/roll in particular. Haslem can play on both ends, but he lacks size to defend quality Centers or bigs and lacks the shotblocking skills.

The Amount of slobbing the refs do over Miami will be unwatchable.
